About this product
Inspired by true events, Sovereign is a tense and provocative true-crime thriller about a father and his teenage son—Jerry and Joseph Kane (Nick Offerman and Jacob Tremblay)—who follow the Sovereign Citizen belief system, a deeply anti-establishment worldview rooted in distrust of government authority. As the pair travel across the country delivering self-taught legal seminars and pushing back against systems they believe have failed them, their journey brings them into conflict with Police Chief John Bouchart (Dennis Quaid), setting off a tragic chain of events that forces a reckoning with power, principle, and the limits of freedom.

Off duty and minding his own business, a black NYPD detective is stopped-and subsequently shot-by two white fellow officers while trying to produce his ID. His returned fire results in the death of one of the other cops, leading to an internal affairs investigation that takes place as peace is sought between two warring gangs, and a separate shooting involving the police and a young black man occurs. Timely drama stars Ice-T, Tobias Truvillion, Syleena Johnson, Robert Clohessy. 99 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.
James Stewart (Vertigo) and June Allyson (The Glenn Miller Story) star in director Anthony Mann's (El Cid) Cold War aviation drama Strategic Air Command. Robert InchDutchInch Holland (Stewart), a successful player for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, finds his inactive duty status with the U.S. Air Force suddenly active. When Holland, originally tasked with a staff job, is promoted to commanding a B-36 bomber crew, his attempts to balance domestic life with Sally (Allyson as his devoted wife) and service to God and country will test not only his marriage, but also his sense of self. Equally impressive is the supporting cast that includes Frank Lovejoy (Try and Get Me), Barry Sullivan (The Bad and the Beautiful), Henry Morgan (High Noon), Jay C. Flippen (The Killing), James Bell (Holiday Inn) and Rosemary DeCamp (Yankee Doodle Dandy).
