We *really* wanted to love this speaker, it's well designed overall and it's one of the few out there with a camera-style mount, not to mention several other great features. But ultimately we decided to return it for two reasons: 1. As others have mentioned, the audio is just really mediocre. I wasn't actually able to tell the difference between the two EQ modes, but I feel like this could benefit significantly from having *several* EQ modes, at least one of which would boost the highs and lows. As it is, it's just really mid-centric and flat. 2. The control buttons are extremely difficult to see, and feeling them isn't clear enough for efficient use. I realize that since it's a water speaker, any kind of paint on the icons would probably wear off, but as it is, the controls are just too difficult to use.

I got this for my dad who has a tendancy to be hard on his equipment. I saw this was waterproof and drop resistant, so I was hopeful. It's been a solid choice for him and it's still working! I this for a moderate priced speaker that had handle a little abuse, this is a great option.
