Electrifying action thriller starring Keanu Reeves as Los Angeles SWAT team officer Jack Traven, who must rescue the passengers on a bus booby-trapped by deranged bomb expert Howard Payne (Dennis Hopper). Payne's rigged the vehicle to explode if it drops under 50 mph, so now it's up to Traven and courageous commuter Annie (Sandra Bullock)-who's forced to hop behind the wheel-to save the day. With Jeff Daniels, Joe Morton, and an amazing array of wild stunts. 116 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English. Two-disc set.
Less than a year after his debut feature The Murder Man, James Stewart settled into the driver's seat for his first top-billed role. The fast-rising star plays Terry Martin, a skilled automotive test driver and inspired inventor eager to test his ideas for a more efficient carburetor. Romance puts a minor roadblock in Terry's pursuit of success: He and the engineer working with him are attracted to the same woman (Wendy Barrie). Release
When his partner in crime is kidnapped after pulling off a massive money heist, a notorious professional thief tracks the abductors into the territory of a merciless drug lord, pursued by dirty cops, low-level cronies, and the crime syndicate's deadliest hitman, a gun-loving and coldly charming sociopath known as The Cowboy. But with millions of dollars and multiple lives at stake, how long will loyalty amongst thieves actually last when the bullets start flying?
