Speed of the Stars - While Italy Dreamed ....Through Summers Of Haze - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Collaboration between Kilbey (The Church) and Kearns (Cactus World News). New edition of the 2016 , limited to 800 copies on Purple Vinyl, packaged in gatefold sleeve. Contains 2 unreleased bonus tracks. Kilbey's band The Church have returned to a high profile status with recent albums The Hypnogogue and Eros Zeta being critically acclaimed globally.

A compelling journey through ten tracks that eviscerate the little horrors hidden in the so-called civilized society. The classic movie & comics monsters are back and, guess what?, now they are more scared than us... This twisted parallel dimension is depicted in true Trick or Treat fashion, addressing topics like environmental issues, cyberbullying and social media addiction with an unique uplifting twist. The Italian band remains true to it's foundation though, paying the dues to personal childhood's myths yep, it's a very rare and thrilling case of Peter Pan syndrome!

Where can we find beauty, truth and goodness - even in the face of death? That's the question Gudrun Sidonie Otto, soprano, and Andreas Liebig, cathedral organist in Basel, are facing on their second CD. Dvorak's Biblical Songs and Brahms' chorale preludes are works of longing for home, for a loved one and for redemption. An eloquent testimony to an extraordinary musical friendship!
