The SPT 6qt Digital Pressure Cooker has 10 pre-set cooking programs including soup/stew, meat/chicken, beans/potatoes, yogurt, brown/sauté, rice, slow cook, cake, steam and sterilize. The pre-set programs make it easy to prepare a variety of meals with the touch of a button, minimizing time spent in the kitchen. Food is kept warm after the set cooking time until ready to consume. The delay timer function can set a later cooking time for up to 24 hours, allow you to prep the food ahead of time and cook while you are away. It replaces common kitchen appliances and tools such as slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, yogurt maker, multiple pots and pans for sauté/browning, makes the countertop less clutter. The pressurized cooking method seals the food in and cooks at a higher temperature and greater humidity than traditional methods such as boiling, steaming and frying. It allows the steam to be trapped and effectively tenderizes food at a faster pace without drying, at the same time preserving more flavor and nutrients. The user-friendly features makes cooking and cleaning easy, great for people that are on-the-go.
