It was a very good product, I was passionate about cloud gaming, but not everyone was ready for this, so Google decided to postpone this project and close it temporarily, in the same way they returned all the money spent within the application and the controller was turned into a Bluetooth remote, to be able to continue using it on a PC. thanks google it was nice while it lasted

For those wanting a gaming system that is affordable and mobile this is the one for you. Save yourself $300 by buying this system. Game quality is on par or better than PS5 or xBox X. Stadia can be played on your tv, computer, mobile phone, and/or tablet. The quality of the game on my iPhone, iPad, and 4K tv are spectacular and I have no issues with buffering. I can take the controller with me or sync my PS4 controller if traveling. If I want to play on a tv somewhere other than your house you can take the Chromecast Ultra dongle with me and the Stadia controller. All games are in the cloud so there are no system or game updates that you have to wait on. Just hop on and play.

I especially love that the CCU come with the ethernet adapter- makes the cloud gaming experience very smooth.

After reading how Cyberpunk runs well on stadia, and well, they where giving you a $100 system if you pre ordered a $60 game, I decided to give it a try. I played about 30 hours of the game with my pc app hooked up to my 55 inch, 4k HDR display. The game looked very nice and ran with no issues. When this stadia arrived, undecided to give it a try, to see if there was any improvement over the pc app, boy was I surprised! The chromecast recognized my HDR and allowed me to tweak it, the game looks much better compared to PC app (my pc has a GTX1080ti, and most games look real good on it, just can't run cyberpunk), to colors on the chromecast are more vivid, seems like the graphics are better, I'm sold on Stadia untill Im able to upgrade my PC or buy an xbox series X. I got a subscription to Ubisoft Plus, been playing AC Valhalla and the game also looks stunning, my little brother has the PS5 version, and to me, there was no visual difference between the 2 systems. The chromecast does get super hot, but haven't noticed any lag or shutting down. My internet speed is 200/200, and it can handle the stadia plus 5 other household members streaming at the same time. Also, of you're only going to stream at 1080p you need less bandwidth. I would say, if you live in a place where internet is decent, definitely get a free trial from stadia pro and play one of the games they have for free to pro members, try it out on any pc either via chrome browser or stand alone app, and if that game runs well, buy a stadia pro to fully appreciate the game. I'm glad I gave it another chance, I had to opportunity to be a Beta tester back in November 2018, and there where a lot of issues. Now, if I want a new game and haven't bought my series X, I would definitely get it here.

Works extremely well. I’m thinking I will go with this as my gaming platform of choice from this point forward. Really awesome just seamlessly swapping from TV to laptop. The controllers hooking up through WiFi is great, it makes using the same controller on multiple screens far more simple and intuitive than dealing with Bluetooth. Over all very happy!

I was almost TOO excited when I saw this available on here vs buying it straight from the Google store, but it was so simple to link everything together. I had an older Google Chromecast prior to purchasing this, and since I already had the app for it - I just plugged it in & it automatically synced-up. The Stadia controller is pretty comfortable, I wish that the Wasabi color was an option outside of the Google store though, and the only complicated thing about it was learning the buttons compared to a traditional Xbox or Playstation controller. No issues, just keep the charging cord nearby, I've been really into a few games and the controller died right in the middle of it. It DOES take quite a bit for it to have enough charge to link back up but it automatically saves your progress well so that's a big plus!!

So far, excellent performance. My internet connection is appx 115mb down/15 mb up and I rarely have stability issues. I am able to play games like F1 2020 with almost unnoticeable input lag although I've found this gaming format best suited to games like Red Dead Redemption 2 (which is awesome in terms of performance and gameplay!) instead of games that require the least amount of input lag. The game selection if you subscribe to Pro is actually pretty good and it appears that it will only be improving with the inclusion of some upcoming Ubisoft titles. My favorite parts: 1. I purchased this on sale, so for less than $100 I will be able to play AAA games at 4K (or scaled up 4K) without having to upgrade my console/PC every 3-4 years. As a pretty casual gamer, this is an excellent concept for me. 2. After purchasing Red Dead Redemption 2, I was playing it immediately! No long download wait times and any sort of large patches don't have to be downloaded (looking at you, Warzone).

Really enjoying my new Stadia! It was easy (though time consuming) to set up, and much more affordable than modern gaming consoles or computers. Since I only get a handful of hours to play it presented a good time vs cost proposition. The selection of games is much smaller than on consoles, but the games run without issues and at the highest graphics settings. Cyberpunk 2077, panned in reviews for numerous bugs and problems, ran like a dream from day one. I also really like that with an extra controller, I can continue to play the same game upstairs on my old PC without moving the hardware. I'm streaming 4k gaming on a 200MB fiber internet service and have yet to experience any substantial lag or latency, but I don't play FPSs.

It is sad that stadia is going away and there is no refund on this. Controller and chromecast works great

I'm A-day one founder. And I have to say. I was really impressed with what Google had. The ability to only use a Web browser / Chromecast /Web browser. To play Triple A games. And all you need to do is buy the games. Plus with pro you get a selection of over 26 games. And are absolutely free so hell yes I would recommend stadia.

I decided to get Stadia because of Cyberpunk 2077. The game looks and runs great ! As long as you have a stable internet connection you will have no problems. If you are reading this give Stadia a chance. I was skeptical at first, but now I’m very happy with it.

For being considered an un-console, it good so long as you have a solid internet connection with a 5ghz wireless frequency and not 2.4ghz. Google really needs to put more blockbuster titles on there though (hence, the 4 out of 5 stars). Other than that the Stadia is worth the money.

Wasn't so sure about Stadia when I bought it but I have fallen in love with it. It's so simple and I love that I can just take all my games with me anywhere. No worrying about consoles fitting in my bag, just gotta have room for the Chromecast and the controller. Or not, because I play on my phone all the time too. By far, the coolest thing I've experienced gaming wise. It's worth mentioning that you will need a decent internet connection, other than that it's pretty great

After mixed hearing poor reviews on how the XB1 and PS4 handled Cyberpunk 2077 (and how the new XB and PS5 are sold out everywhere) I decided to check out Stadia - I heard it ran quite well on here. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be this awesome! Setup was quick and easy and I'm not limited to playing the game on ONLY the TV, I can play it on my PC with keyboard and mouse (or controller), my low end laptop runs it (cyberpunk 2077) without even breaking a sweat, and I can even play it on my phone if I wanted to! Let that sink in - I can get better framerate and load times compared to a PS4 or XB1 for Cyberpunk 2077, ON MY PHONE! No monthly plan required to play is another perk however you can sign up for Stadia PRO and it allows you to stream games in 4K and also gives you a few free games every month. But wait there's more! You can also setup Family Sharing in your GMail account, and whoever you have setup as a family member will be able to create their own stadia account for free and you can share your stadia game library, your subscription AND they will have their own entirely separate account so you don't have to worry about them overwriting your saves.

I've been a stadia player since day one. And I'm gonna have to say. It's one of the best decisions that I have ever made. You don't even have to pay for anything. Just buy the games and your all set.

Stadia is awesome! I do not have the best internet but games run flawlessly and start up so quick. Another perk is no hacking! If you are use to playing PC and consoles, hackers can get a hold of game files and make playing multiplayer absolutely dreadful by perfoming cheating exploits. Cloud gaming is in its infancy but will only grow. Dont take my word for it though, go try it. In fact go try it for free! Then buy this bundle!

Purchased this as a gift for my nephew who couldn't afford an Xbox. Since it comes with chromecast, its also useful for casting Netflix and your other favorite media. He gets access to many of the same games he was looking at for other consoles. Easy transition for Android/Google users since you use your google account.

I really enjoy the platform. It performs great granted you meet the internet connection requirements. The biggest thing I have against it is the library, it's still growing though and Google is adding more and more titles every week.

The whole concept is good. The controller is beautiful and excellent, which is why I gave it the rating I did. But thr system overall if a fail. Graphics and lack of games is what made it a NO for me.
