Supporting performances deepen the journey June Carter Cash (The Last Days of Frank and Jesse James, The Apostle) brings resilience; Elizabeth Ashley (Happiness, The Carpetbaggers, Evening Shade) adds complexity; and Anthony Newley (Doctor Dolittle, Can Hieronymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?, Oliver Twist) delivers dramatic weight. Mary Crosby (Dallas, The Ice Pirates, The Legend of Zorro) and Tony Franciosa (A Hatful of Rain, Tenebre, A Face in the Crow) round out the ensemble, giving this retelling both Hollywood presence and musical soul. A unique collaboration between film and country music history, Stagecoach (1986) captures the mythic spirit of the West while adding it's own iconic twist - a rare chance to see Cash, Nelson, Kristofferson, and Jennings share the screen as legends on horseback.
