Standalone Electric Dryer Install

Sit back and let our professionals install your new electric dryer.

Required accessories include a new dryer vent kit, a new 3- or 4-prong power cord (existing cannot be reused), a steam dryer kit if applicable, and a stacking kit if applicable, all available for purchase at Best Buy.

• Before we begin: To prepare for installation, make sure someone 18 or older is present at the appointment time.
• Disconnect the existing dryer: We'll unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and disconnect it from the existing, exposed, external dryer vent.
• Connect the new dryer: We'll use the new dryer vent kit and 3- or 4-prong power cord accessory to install the unit and plug it into an existing electrical outlet.
• Optional services: At your request, we can reverse the door swing, install the dryer to a new or existing compatible laundry pedestal of the same brand (sold separately), or stack it on a compatible washer of the same brand with a new or compatible laundry stacking kit (sold separately).
• Final steps: We'll level and test the appliance for functionality, clean up our workspace, answer any questions you may have, and let you know how to contact us for future support.
• Purchase haul-away services for an additional fee: When you buy a qualifying electric dryer from Best Buy, we’ll haul away and recycle or relocate your old one for you. (Not included)
