Plays and looks like a movie. Intuitive controls. Great voice-acting, compelling story, and pretty amazing visuals. I purchased this for the campaign (story) mode. Def. money well spent.

Outside of KOTOR, this is the most complete experience I've had with a Star Wars game. The story, main character, supporting characters, and villains are excellent. It is honestly more entertaining and better written than a great majority of Star Wars content. Where I enjoy it more than KOTOR is the gameplay. It is an excellent blend of standard lightsaber fair with some Devil May Cry/Dark Souls. Those games are the best in class for third person action games, so great inspirations. I can't wait to see what is next for the crew.

It has been a while since I could say I was pleasantly by new Star Wars game ..... That being said, withing the first 15 mins of starting the game, you can obviously tell the developers put a good amount of care and detail into the story and details in the environments. Personally, being a fan of single player story style titles - I was hooked withing the first 5 mins myself. I don't want to give any spoiler away, so I will just say that exploring the environments and art work and details of the first few levels/worlds had me floored and made me feel like I was alsmot in amini Star Wars show with my character. The action is tight, the combat system is rewarding, and I enjoyed getign to know my companins - particually my new new driod companin. Is the game perfect? - NO ... far from it. However it does so many things right from the start - that its easy to forgive from my point view. Yes, the levels can get repetitive...and yes, while the voice acting is excellent, the animations don't always capture the same level of excellence. I honestly wish there were more things to do and explore on the ship that your based off of, however it serves its purpose as a dual load screen and mission loading/prepping narrative device. The customization options - while seeming large at first - aren't actually that great - and I would have preferred some other type of reward system or more thought out /better integrated cosmetics throughout the game. It never really felt that your choice/actions really mattered in the end. In summary - Well worth what I paid for it. I had a blast and was happy to see Star Wars games NOT be all about multiplayer all the time. While not perfect - it does a good job immersing you into the Star Wars universe.

Finally, a fun Star Wars adventure. It has the look and feel of the movies, and using the light saber just feels perfect. The story is entertaining, and if your PC has the horsepower to play it at epic, it looks incredible. Another nice aspect is the ability to select difficulty, because it can very hard on Jedi Master. Worthy of the Star Wars name!

As a Star Wars fan, I’ve wanted a great adventure game along with a compelling story for a while. I’ve had experience with Zelda games, and this game is a welcome challenge, however, you can change the difficulty if you don’t feel up to it. This game was excellent in itself along with the great Best Buy price, and the service was great. It runs decently on my PC, and I have about the minimum specs outlined by EA. I do have to close almost every application and optimize my computer for best performance. Does take up 50 GB though. This is a digital code (no disc) and you have to redeem it with the Origin client, made by EA. Took me about 3 hours to fully download, but you probably can play it after about an hour because of Origin’s software. Will definitely purchase from Best Buy again.

I went into this game not sure what to expect. What I found was something pretty incredible. Like many say, there’s some dark souls like gameplay mixed in with the metroidvania style. I’m a sucker for metroidvania style games. So I naturally got addicted to exploring every nook and cranny to find every item I could find. Per the style, you will have places you can’t go to unless you unlock a certain ability to access it later. The game makes it very easy to manage. The story itself was actually pretty good. I got quite a bit of enjoyment out of it. I liked the protagonist as he was flawed and clearly had his own issues. He didn’t always make the best decisions and made his fair share of mistakes. Not the typical perfect hero type.

It's not perfect but it's a great game for Star Wars fans. It looks and sounds awesome, has interesting level design, and combat is excellent. A real challenge on hard difficulties, and a fair story.

It's crazy to think that EA has released a Star Wars game I actually enjoy, and one that I keep going back to. It's well made, controls great, and has a ton to offer. Highly recommend.

A well developed game, by Respawn. An adventure 3rd person game, very much influenced by elements of today's console games such as the reboot Tomb Raiders series, God of Wars, Uncharted and others. This game has 'safer' story lines compared to its predecessors (The infamous Force Unleashed series) There are some physics flaw in this game, but the sweet graphics (especially if you're getting the PC version) will awe you and you'll appreciate this good game made my Respawn. If you are a Star Wars, I fully recommend to get this game and you'll definitely enjoy it!

As an avid Star Wars fan I can say that I fully recommend this game. The characters are likable, the plot is enticing, and the visuals are gorgeous. The game play also allows for a more open world type of style while giving the player a sense of direction. The game controls and fighting style is very user friendly and easy to understand while allowing you to use complex combat moves against a multitude of different enemies. All in all great game that's lots of fun that offers more Star Wars content.

Great story combat and level design. Buy it The first few hours are slower but game really opens up and becomes great. 15 to 20 hours to beat

I like Star Wars and both single-/multi-player games. For only completing the first level (game & story setup), the game is excellent. The environment is full & rich. The graphics are very good. The controls are very good. I haven't fully gotten used to the controls, and I haven't yet determined the best strategies/tactics to fight, but I get to use a light saber to reflect blaster shots back at the storm troupers. I am looking forward to playing more and having a lot of fun.

I am so happy I got this game. The gameplay is excellent. The graphics are beautiful. The game plays very smoothly even on my 3 year old laptop with graphics on epic. But the best part of this game is the story. It really pulls you in and you really care about the characters. I haven't finished the game yet but the game is so good I don't want it to end. Highly recommended.

If you like exploration, don't mind the brutal souls nature of combat, this is the Jedi game you have been looking for. I've enjoyed the time I've spent, there is a lot more exploration then I expected and I'm having fun with it. The combat is more on the souls side, with a risk/reward save/death mechanic. Also this game does not hold your hand. There is no waypoint marker, and the HUD is limited. Though Respawn did a good job giving clues, like having the droid on your back turn red when you need to heal, so that is a nice change in pace, unlike a lot of newer games that will guide you from point A-B on the screen. Only design choice they made that might be immersion breaking is the fact you don't slice the Stromtroopers in half. I get they most likely wanted to keep the rating at T so they couldn't, but I can see how that could bother someone, so giving the warning here. Overall I'm having fun with it and if you are looking for a game to get your Jedi on, this is the Droid (game) you are looking for.

EA sucks for thinking nobody wants any single player games anymore. Or they just see things with greedy eyes, this game is great and respawn did an amazing job at giving us fans a star wars games we wanted for so long. Let this be a lesson to EA that not everybody wants plays fortnite all day long and wants to pay for stupid micro transactions and loot boxes. This is one of the best games of the year, no multi player no loot boxes no micro transaction. Just an amazing single player Star Wars adventure. Great job respawn!

I admit I was worried after EA's last Star Wars game, but I love Respawn games and took a chance. Game has the feel of Star Wars and it's so much fun being a Jedi. Great story hooked me from the start. Gameplay is instinctive and simple. A great game!

This is my first video game that I have installed on my Samsung Laptop. Had to buy a 128GB micro SD card to get it to download on my system and also had to buy a wireless controller to play it. Download took about 5 hours (Ouch!) Game right know is extremely hard at the beginning stage. Graphics are great and ghe sound effects are awesome.

I like the new story. There's also story mode which is like a super easy beginner mode if you get stuck you can change on the fly. Cinematics are great and it's super fun to play
