Star Wars - The Vintage Collection Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighter Vehicle - Multi

The X-Wing looks great, with a lot of details. However, the action figures that are shown on the box were not included (and it does say that on the box). But for just the X-Wing by itself, I personally feel that the price was a bit too high.

I loved it. It’s size and look and feel are perfect. It’s 3 out of 5 for these reasons: 1. It wasn’t new. It had been opened and had some scratches on it. 2. Some parts were missing from the box. 3. Not all parts were compatible, some altercation were needed to assemble it.

Product came as promised, packaging looked good and sealed tightly, all components were in box and not opened. Easily put together and looks good. recommend this to any starwars collector would be a great addition to any collection

I got this for Christmas nd really enjoyed putting it together. It is fairly simple to build. The turret on the bottom flips open, but feels very stiff. The wings open and shut just like they did on the original one when I was a kid. I like that you add your own R2D2. This looks great and has much better proportions than the old one. The price is a bit high considering no electronics or figures.

This review is reflective of both the sculpt and the price of this. Sculpt: 5/5 First of all, though this is new to the vintage collection the sculpt is not a new one. The vehicle is based on the 2011 Death Star Trench Run. I was fortunate enough to have this release before I bought this. If you do not have the 2011 version, then this release is the one you want. The sculpt is amazing and had all the bells in whistles: proton torpedo launch, storage area, a targeting computer, and even a lightsaber holder for Luke. Get it. It’s worth your money easily. Value: 2/5 Now if you already had the previous sculpt like I did, then this vehicle is a mixed bag. The 2011 release was awfully clean. It had some dirt painted on, but it was much cleaner than Luke’s Xwing in the film. This new release solves that. It is grimey and worn looking (on purpose). Hasbro did a good job. However if you have the 2011 version then you’re basically paying $100 for some new paint. If you want the best X-Wing sculpt available and one with the best paint, then this is what you want. The vintage collection packaging I think is always fabulous, and the same is true here. If you don’t have the 2011 version this is a no brainer. It’s a beautiful update. If you do have the 2011 version just realize the only “new” here is the paint and packaging. I’m still glad I bought it at full price, but I know others may not feel the same.
