The Fox Star Wars Trilogy on Blu-ray + DVD Combo feature Star Wars Episodes I-III. The greatest space saga ever told begins with Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and follows young Anakin Skywalker's descent to the dark side as he transforms from child slave to Jedi apprentice to the evil Darth Vader! Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (32 Years Before Episode IV) Stranded on the desert planet Tatooine after rescuing young Queen Amidala from the impending invasion of Naboo, Jedi apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Jedi Master discover nine-year-old Anakin Skywalker, a young slave unusually strong in the Force. Anakin wins a thrilling Podrace and with it his freedom as he leaves his home to be trained as a Jedi. The heroes return to Naboo where Anakin and the Queen face massive invasion forces while the two Jedi contend with a deadly foe named Darth Maul. Only then do they realize the invasion is merely the first step in a sinister scheme by the re-emergent forces of darkness known as the Sith. Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (22 Years Before Episode IV) Ten years after the events of the Battle of Naboo, not only has the galaxy undergone significant change, but so have Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padmé Amidala, and Anakin Skywalker as they are thrown together again for the first time since the Trade Federation invasion of Naboo. Anakin has grown into the accomplished Jedi apprentice of Obi-Wan, who himself has transitioned from student to teacher. The two Jedi are assigned to protect Padmé whose life is threatened by a faction of political separatists. As relationships form and powerful forces collide, these heroes face choices that will impact not only their own fates, but the destiny of the Republic. Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (19 Years before Episode IV) Three years after the onset of the Clone Wars, the noble Jedi Knights have been leading a massive clone army into a galaxy-wide battle against the Separatists. When the sinister Sith unveil a thousand-year-old plot to rule the galaxy, the Republic crumbles and from its ashes rises the evil Galactic Empire. Jedi hero Anakin Skywalker is seduced by the dark side of the Force to become the Emperor's new apprentice - Darth Vader. The Jedi are decimated, as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Master Yoda are forced into hiding. The only hope for the galaxy are Anakin's own offspring - the twin children born in secrecy who will grow up to become Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa.

I got this for my bf for valentines day. We both collect movies. He loved it. I actually went to target first. While there, I checked online if bestbuy had it. It was actually a little over 5$ cheaper at best buy. Good deal!

Star Wars Trilogy on DVD is it a must have item if you are a Star Wars Fan. The versatility of having both a blu ray and dvd copy makes it so you can view these movies anywhere. So easy to order from Best Buy! Thanks!

The Star Wars Prequels, while flawed in ways, are actually really good movies. All of these were made not trying to replicate the original movies, but to offer something a little bit different. The overall story here is how Anakin Skywalker ultimately becomes Darth Vader, the main villain of the original trilogy. Throughout this part of the saga, we learn more about familiar characters like Obi-Wan, and also get introduced to interesting new ones such as Count Dooku and Darth Maul. Definitely a fine addition to any real Star Wars fans' collection.

Had to get this so my die hard Star Wars fan of a son could see them all. Good movies, but bad acting. You need to see them to have a more complete understanding of Star Wars.

Paid $39.99 for the Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Box Set, and am happy to have this as a placeholder until all the currently available Star Wars films are released on 4K UHD Blu-ray.

This will be a quick review of the prequel trilogy. I will do three categories and a short explanation for each category for each movie. I love all things Star Wars and provide no negative feelings towards this trilogy. Episode I: The Phantom Menace Audio: 4/5. Definitely feels redone compared to the first time it came out on DVD. Sounds great but, not my favorite out of these three. Video: 3/5. I have all Samsung TVs 3 1080p and one 4K, the movie looks great on all but the CGI (heavily used) look fake and 'clay like' at time. More noticeable on the 4k. Although Yoda was completely CGI and looks amazing. Quality: 4/5. There was a lot of grain removal and it shows. The only part I think it shows most is during the Gungan and droid battle on the Plains of Naboo. Episode II: Attack of the Clones Audio: 5/5. This one sounds particularly great on 5.1. The best part (for me) has to be during the asteroid chase when Jango drops the seismic charges at Obi-Wan. Video: 4/5. The lasers look much better than the first. The 'clay' is almost nonexistent. The CGI looks much better. This was a good Blu-Ray upgrade. Quality: 5/5. The grain is pretty much gone throughout. Very seamless video. Episode III: Revenge of the Sith Audio: 5/5. Simply the best audio and music from the three. Video: 5/5. Obviously, the best part is the intro space battle over Coruscant. The space is amazing. Quality: 4/5. Sadly, in my experience, the most important part of the whole series suffered a bit from grain. The battle on Mustafar between Anakin and Obi-Wan could have looked much better. Overall, I believe that this is a better collection than the pack with Luke and Anakin on the cover. Although it's split this can possibly be priced matched cheaper with the original trilogy and become cheaper than the $90 set. A great upscale and superb video and audio quality. A must buy for any Star Wars fan.

If you haven’t already, you really need to see all the Star Wars movies and let your imagination go wild... and to keep up with all the jargon that emanates from them.

I was finally able to complete my Star Wars collection. It’s nice because it’s all three movies in one case. You don’t have to take up a lot of space on the shelf.

I love both the original trilogy and also this the prequel trilogy. I mainly bought this because the little boy I help look after LOVES star wars as well. he got the original trilogy for Christmas and I figured he'd like watching these as well. I let him watch the first two and he loved them, the first in the prequel trilogy is very kid friendly, though I haven't let him watch the third yet as not sure if he's old enough to since it is a little darker (anakin going bad) and is rated pg13. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Bought this to binge the entire Star Wars series in one weekend! Thank goodness they had it in stores. Screwed we might have been.

These movies are pure unadulterated meme fuel. Like, they have a strong, unique visual and campy identity, but it's hard not to roll your eyes at stuff like "I don't like sand" or "My powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count." I love it.

While we had a copy of these movies I wanted the set in blu Ray. Purchased during holidays at a reduced price for our collection.

These are actually the "Prequals" (the 3 movies that proceeded the originals). Love them and now my kids are enjoying them too!
