Did you lose the cable for your USB 3.0 external hard drive, or did the original one start dropping the connection? This Cable Leader USB 3.0 USB-A to Micro-B SuperSpeed cable is the standard replacement cable for almost every 2.5" portable USB 3.0 hard drive made in the last decade. The wider Micro-B SuperSpeed connector (looks like two stacked Micro-USB ports) plugs into your external drive; the standard USB-A end plugs into your computer. Supports full 5 Gbps SuperSpeed data transfer for fast backup, video editing, and large file copy. Built with double-shielded conductors and fully molded strain relief. Compatible with WD My Passport, Seagate Backup Plus / Expansion, Toshiba Canvio, Samsung portable SSDs, LaCie Rugged Mini, and most USB 3.0 portable hard drives. Best for: replacing a USB 3.0 portable hard drive cable. Not for: Micro-USB phones (different connector — use USB-A to Micro-USB cable). RoHS compliant.
