    Good adapter to connect a lcd tv to be a monitor.

    Purchased this adapter to be able to connect my former TV to be the monitor to my computer, very sturdy construction (not like the first brand I purchased- not from BB). Works as advertised.

  • Is this an actual converter? I have laptops with older display port implementations and I'm told I need an actual converter, not a simple adapter. Is this a passive adapter or an active adapter that converts a displayport signal to a HDMI signal?

  • Hello team, I have a ps4 that uses HDMI. I want to use a computer monitor that has a display port and DVI port. Will this adapter pass the sound through yo the monitors built in speakers? Right now I'm using a DVI adapter but only the video goes through.

    Hey, just so you know you should be using a PS4 pro if u want any added Benifits from messing around with a display port addaptor. Also you need a hdmi to display port adapter, not a DisplayPort TO hdmi.. and you want your monitor to support free sync technology but not G sync. If done properly when PS4 is set to "boost mode" it's graphics card will be able to communicate with each other giving you up to 50 percent higher frame rate speeds. They are very hard to find however
