for it's price, it is worth it. It is designed with the playstation 2 controller in mind. What I disliked about it is that it is not compatible with certain games that I used other controllers for. For example I have been playing Fallout 4 with never any controller issues and I used many different controllers to play Fallout before, but this controller is not recognized by Fallout 4. There are multiple other games with the same issue but overall it works great for the games that it does work for, so for the price it is a good buy, or you can save up a little more and get a better one.

Its not a bad device for what it is. However, it feels like for what its being marketed as it really drops the ball. By default, the right analog is disabled making the computer only recognize the input as another d-pad. This is easy enough to fix by pressing the mode button in the middle of the controller, but why this was an option in the first place is puzzling. In addition, documentation stating this was an option would have been nice too. Also, its not recognized as a windows controller even after installing the drivers and completely useless manager program from SteelSeries support site. So if you want to play anything like Borderlands 2, Grid, Call of Duty, or any big blockbuster game you have to use a mapping program like xpadder for each game separately. Although it may be more expensive, I would highly recommend purchasing a wireless receiver from Microsoft instead so you can just use a wireless xbox 360 controller without all the hassle. Or if you can find any still, plug and play usb xbox 360 controllers will work as well.

Easy to setup and configure to your pc. Feels smooth and comfortable when playing games.

I bought this controller to play games on my Mac desktop and there is no driver support for this controller on the company website even though the packaging says that it will work on both PC and Mac. It works wonderfully on my PC machine but not the Mac.

I had some trouble getting it to work well with my friend's pc laptop, but for some reason it immediately worked really well on my brother's pc laptop. Compared to the logitech remote (the only other choice i had in store. i'm not sure at the moment what model it was), it doesn't feel as natural in your hand, but it gets the job done and works on my mac mini. I did end up also getting the logitech remote so i could play with my friend's laptop (she already had the logitech remote and it worked perfectly), but i use both for multiplayer with no complaints on my brother's laptop. if price is an issue for you when choosing, i'd say this is a great choice over the logitech's more pricier remote.

The controller makes computer gaming more like gaming on tv. The lone drawback is that if used on a Mac, the controller needs to be programmed. But, the short time spent programming is worth it.

If your'e not a die-hard gamer and just enjoy PC based games for fun, this is a perfect way to get console style interaction. Takes some getting used to if you've been using they keyboard, but once you've got the hang of it, you'll never go back to keyboard controls.

The drivers are ok for windows 7, but nonexistent for Windows 8.1. Not all games support it. Other than that, the games it will work on, the device is spectacular.

Good controller but does not work with a lot of Windows 8 games without downloads and complicated set ups.

The controller is great and what makes it even better is the price! When I saw it, I knew the Steelseries brand because of my keyboard.

I tried to use it on gta iv and need for speed world and it didn't work so it's not for all games

Decent gaming controller. No issues and been working fine for about 2 months now. Definitely recommend if you are on a budget.

Good gaming controller, much like a PlayStation design. Joystick a little sticky but loosed up nice.

This works on very few games. The manufacturer has no customer support and has not updated their firmware. I bought it specifically to use with Steam games, and it doesn't work with them at all. It does work, barely, with a few other games, but even at $20, not worth the money.

Good controller. I purchased to use on a PC running android x86 so the fact it works at all for something unintended is good as it is supporting Windows not android os. Most ROMs have a controller support that works well with this application and you can also purchase an app to program it for specific apps. Again I use it to play android touch screen games on a PC and for the most part it works.
