Paired Device: Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen) I bought this specifically to play Duck Tales Remastered and it made the gameplay much smoother than using the ATV Remote. It's a sturdy device with a USB-C charge port that has, I believe, up to 50 hours of playtime on a single charge. This device does pair with most Apple products (MacOS, Apple TV, iOS, iPadOS). The size is may be a bit chunky for anyone <10 years of age. Overall, I'd say the size is somewhere between a PS4 and Xbox controller. Highly recommend.

The SteelSeries Nimbus works well with Mac laptop and desktop. This controller is comfortable, not heavy and charges well with USB-C

*****Disclaimer***** I’VE HAD IT FOR 5 hrs It’s a wonky set up. There’s no app in the App Store to update firmware. You gotta download a program on a computer that IMO doesn’t work. Reason I say that is the steel series website says you should update the controller once getting it for optimal performance, but after the 2 hrs of messing around to do that my controller didn’t need a firmware update? Seems unlikely. I had high hopes even after reading the multiple poor reviews. The wireless range is crazy short! I got this to play Apple Arcade games on my Apple TV 4K. If I stand 2-3 feet away from the module it works fine. But 4 feet? That sneaky squatch of mine gets all sorts of confused. The only reason this gets 2 stars… works great for my phone. I’ll be using it when I fly, which is over a dozen times a year and the only reason I’m not returning it. I shoulda got a new Xbox controller, but this Apple world I’ve chosen to live in has got a tight grip on me. #DoMoreBetterApple

Works great holds a charge function’s just as any controller

When I bought this I originally was going to return it. After hours of searching for a solution to the not connected status (after resetting my bluetooth settings and such on my ipad), I found that a critical firmware was needed for the controller. The software that SteelSeries says to download was not working on my mac, so I was going to give up. I then thought, what if I update it on my pc, well that worked. Apparently, SteelSeries software for the mac has a software bug. Also, please keep in mind that the nimbus controller app for iOS does not work with the Nimbus+. Once the firmware was updated, I was able to use the controller with controller support on the games.

The Nimbus+ is terrible for any modern M1 Apple product, and you definitely SHOULD NOT buy it! They currently ship with outdated firmware. The only way to update that firmware is via the SteelSeries GG application, which must be installed on an Apple computer running macOS. There's a huge problem: Apple computers using M1 chips won't recognize the controller via the SteelSeries GG app. So it's impossible to update the firmware. Here's the thing, though... M1-based Apple computers and the development kits for these ARM processors have been out for TWO YEARS. And here I sit with two plastic bricks that don't work. What makes matters even worse is that the Nimbus+ is specifically designed and exclusively for Apple iOS, tvOS, and macOS products. So how in the world does SteelSeries manage NOT to have this functioning yet?? I do NOT believe these other reviews and reviewers giving this product 5-stars...There is just no way those other reviews are realistic. I spent about two hours troubleshooting to get the controller detected in the SteelSeries GG application using the instructions provided by SteelSeries, and nothing worked. I have a 2021 Apple iMac and a 2022 Apple MacBook Air. Both computers work perfectly and both have M1 chips. Lastly, and most importantly: The SteelSeries GG application wants permission to log all of your KEYSTROKES on all applications. Are you even kidding me? Do you want me to send all my passwords and banking details to SteelSeries for a silly video game controller? I think not. The Nimbus+ is ZERO stars. SteelSeries is ZERO stars. I'll never repurchase another one of these products.

This is the best controller that I’ve ever had the pleasure of wielding. It just feels right. Don’t listen to the bad reviews from people who have no idea what they are doing or how to work a basic controller. I have personally had zero issues out of this controller and the connectivity across all of my Apple devices is very easy. All you have to do is hit the sync button, find the device in your Bluetooth setting and connect. Battery life is phenomenal. Love the way everything feels, love the aesthetics of the controller itself. 10/10 would buy again or for anyone gaming on Apple devices.

so far this controller has been very good. seems well built and made of premium materials. battery life is fantastic but this will depend on your usage. love that its a lightning cable so it fits the theme of my Apple products. Mainly use it with my Apple TV but works with my iPad and my iPhone, even comes with a holder for the phone. This is a great addition for me and my mobile gaming. Highly recommend.

Overall a decent controller. Feels a little fragile but overall works well and is great for the Apple TV.

I like this but app always shows “not connected” even though it is, thus can’t update to see its potential, at the moment it disconnects a lot during game play on iPad thus it causes cussing.

BATTERY LAST FOREVER KIDS LOVE IT, EASY INSTALL ALMOST PLUG AND PLAY

This is the second steel series controller I have purchased from best buy (one for Windows, one for iOS). Both stopped working after about 30-60 hrs of play. The windows version stopped charging after a few charges and the iOS version seems to have random buttons or joystick movements going off as well as disconnecting entirely from a device in the middle of a game which makes it frustrating and useless.

I absolutely love this controller it works marvelously on my laptop my tablet my phone every device I ever connected to it has no issues no lag nothing it's one of the best controllers I've ever used. if I ever need another controller I will never use anything but it steelseries

Bought this for my Apple TV but been using it to game on my iPhone. It works great with the exception of the phone clip. It mounts with little rubber grommets and is easy to work loose. They need a better attachment.

I have played many games in iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV 4K! This controller has great features and very good buttons! This controller is a beast for Call of Duty Mobile.I had the previous Nimbus controller and it lacked lots of features that this one has like dedicated menu and options buttons. Not to mention a iPhone attachment!

This is the best gamepad for Apple Arcade and AppleTV!!! Also you are getting 3-4 months Apple Arcade for free!!!

Xbox game handle these handles are great they just just need to last longer but other than that it’s easy to handle

I don’t really like this gaming controller for use with the Apple TV. The joystick and buttons don’t always respond. This makes it no fun for my kids to play games with on the tv.

Not as nice as a standard xbox controller, but its still ok. Got it on sale, would not pay full price
