About this product
About the songs 'Peace March' was originally called 'Ode To The Doo Dah Day' and was intended to be a children's tune. This interpretation however places it in Zappa territory. 'Wake Up Call' is me railing against the apathy we all share in the drone of life. Guilty, but getting better. 'GodSexMoney' was inspired by a class I attended. The teacher suggested that almost all good, bad and evil things that have happened in mankind's history have been inspired by either God, S*x or money or a combination thereof. Sounds right to me! Wrote a song about it, goes like this... 'Construction' was written back in the 80's with my friends Brad Swanson and Greg 'Harpo' Hilfman. It just seemed to us there might be a better way to build this world. 'Personal Revolution' begs the question 'What would the world be like if we all tried our best to be good to ourselves and to each other. Close your eyes and imagine... 'Dyin For Love' ...Aren't we all? 'Rose Colored Glasses' My good friend, Sheryl has inspired me with her innocent and optimistic view of life. She always says she sees the world through rose colored glasses. Mine are green, bummer. 'Big Brother' Self explanatory! 'True North' is about crossing the oceans (or doing whatever it takes) to find love. 'Will The World Mourn?' I'm very sad to say I don't think the world will miss us when we are gone. UNLESS...we get our act together...to be continued... 'Paradise Lost' confirms you don't mess with Mother Nature! 'Peace, Love, Truth And Understanding' ...the search goes on.

Steve Noonan's sound is melodic, acoustic guitar-driven rock, with clear, resonating vocals. His poetic lyrics are full of depth and meaning. He has lived in Minneapolis since 1991, but grew up in the northeast where he attended Berklee College of Music. It was there he learned to appreciate and learn the craft of songwriting and singing. His influences range from singer songwriters of the '70s, to postmodern British bands of the '80s, to producer/songwriters of today like John Shanks and The Matrix. Steve Noonan is poised to make a definitive statement with the of his self-titled, three-song EP in March 2009.

Over the last decade Steve Marino has recorded multiple solo albums (as Moor Hound), been in countless bands, and toured the country consistently, but his newest full-length, 'Fluff', is the first collection of songs he's released in his own name. In that sense it's his InchdebutInch album. One might expect such a transition, from the artifice of a band name to the intimacy of one's given name, to be born of some newfound, inward focus. It makes sense; it's a story of an artist going back to basics, getting real. It's also not what happened. 'Fluff' is an album about home, and one's place in it, love, and intimacy, and it's the result of Steve marrying his direct, honest songwriting with a deeply collaborative process. He developed the record with fellow Bloomington, Indiana resident, and standout producer/engineer Ben Lumsdaine (Kevin Krauter, Major Murphy, Spissy) and together they open up the songs, giving them tangible depth. The title track, InchFluffInch, with it's precise drums, layered guitars, and visceral, emotive vocals, captures the power of this collaboration. It's a song that is delicate, yet driving, lyrically opaque, yet emotionally direct. It is, like the rest of the album, in perfect balance.
