Stonus - Stonus - VINYL LP

Seance' is the 3rd EP of the Cypriot Heavy Rock band Stonus, a fully analogue 18 24 minute EP recorded live at Hot Soap Studios in Larnaca, Cyprus under the supervision of Andreas Mattheou and mastered by George Leodis. The delicate artwork, perfectly translating the visualisation of S'ance was crafted by Petros Voulgaris InchA seance is an attempt to communicate with spirits. The word came to be used specifically for a meeting of people who are gathered to receive messages from ghosts or to listen to a spirit medium discourse with or relay messages from spirits.Inch Following the of their debut album InchAphasiaInch in early March 2020, Stonus found themselves in the middle of the pandemic, forced to cancel their first European tour - leaving the members isolated in Cyprus, Leeds and London. This was an emotionally heavy period for the band, since they were forced to stay away from the things which kept them together, however these restrictions gave them space to reflect on themselves enabling them to connect and unify with higher energies explored through consciousness, meditation and spiritual melodies. This is where S'ance was born, through the ashes of frustration, loneliness and isolation, a silent scream for freedom, a self-realisation of multiple possible realities and an esoteric outbreak leading to a superficial egodeath. In this trip, Stonus take a more experimental approach seeking into tradition, experiencing folk sounds, gypsy sceneries and expose themselves into the darkest side of nature. In some parts they are raw and heavy, while in others lost in a psychedelic trance, filled with roaring basslines, heavy riffs and dreamy melodies, always bloodthirsty for revolution and change. Whether you're bound by the evil chains of pretentious love, feeling disconnected from your dreams or being chained to the system, S'ance is a kind reminder that you are not

March 2023, Thron unleashed their fourth full-length Dust - a sonic testament to their relentless evolution and creative hunger. Hailed by fans and critics alike, Dust carved it's mark into the underground and beyond, paving the way for. From the hallowed grounds of Hellfest in Clisson to the thunderous stages of Summer Breeze and Baden In Blut, Thron proved themselves a formidable live force. Sharing stages with titans such as Amon Amarth, Necrophobic, Pestilence, Carcass, Endstille, and more, and embarking on a full European tour with The Spirit, the band cemented their reputation as one of the most compelling acts in the modern blackened metal sphere. Now, with Vurias, their forthcoming fifth offering, the German-Swiss coven returns in 2025 more feral, more dynamic, and more visionary than ever before. Where Dust bathed in the grandeur of traditional heavy metal, Vurias submerges itself in darker, more volatile waters. The classic influences remain - a spectral echo rather than a defining presence - as a more savage atmosphere takes hold. Yet amid this storm, Thron unveil new layers of sophistication, drawing deeply from their affinity for classic progressive rock and the arcane sonic landscapes of the 70s.Vurias is no mere follow-up - it is a bold expansion of Thron's artistic scope. Saxophones wail like ghosts, Hammond organs swell with dread, and vintage synthesizers shimmer through the darkness, crafting a rich tapestry that sets this album apart. Songs like InchThe Hunter & The PreyInch and the haunting InchUngemach (Stilles Ende)Inch showcase this alchemy in full force. The latter is further elevated by the unmistakable voice of Zingultus (Endstille, Nagelfar, Morast, Graupel), whose spectral presence adds a chilling gravitas, while none other than Norman Lonhard (ex-Triptykon, ex-Fear My Thoughts, Dead Eyed Creek) lends his percussive mastery - an artist whos
