When top L.A. detective Joe Bomowski (Stallone) gets a rare visit from his feisty mom, Tutti (Getty), his life is turned upside-down. To add to Joe's problems, Tutti witnesses a murder and becomes the unlikely partner when she refuses to divulge information unless she's allowed in on the investigation.
