Strange Harvest - DVD

A mysterious vigilante known as "Dr. Rx" strikes again, leaving his calling card behind as evidence. All of his victims have been crooks who have escaped prosecution through legal loopholes and his hit list keeps growing. Assigned to the case is private detective Jerry Church (Patric Knowles) but the crimes are baffling and involve death by strangulation and a possible attempt to implant a gorilla's brain into a human body. The Strange

Jill has just returned home from college to the rural farm community where she grew up, only to discover that her parents have mysteriously vanished. Learning that her father, a banker, has become the local pariah for overseeing land foreclosures on local farmers, Jill quickly becomes the victim of a series of strange and increasingly depraved assaults. With only her childhood friend and former lover, Gary, and his mentally unstable brother, Mervo (Tiny Tim), willing to believe her, Jill begins to fear for her life. All the while, a stocking-masked killer is abducting, torturing, and brutally killing those closest to Jill

When a tormented father goes to a remote cabin in the woods to face his personal demons, he learns of the local werewolf lore from the townspeople. Befriending the sheriff, he joins him in trying to put an end to whatever is causing the chaos in the small community. But to his dismay, he finds that he must face the truth of his troubled past or risk becoming part of the legend.
