Live in Tokyo' is one of Lettuce's most electrifying albums recorded live that captures the essence of the renowned funk band in one of their energetic performances in Tokyo, Japan. Released in 2004, this album showcases the band's musicianship and their ability to captivate audiences with their unique blend of funk, jazz, and soul. Throughout the album, Lettuce delivers powerful and tight performances, demonstrating their mastery of improvisation and groove. The live setting adds an extra dimension to their music, with extended jams and dynamic interactions between band members that highlight their chemistry and telepathic musical communication. Whether you're a longtime fan or discovering Lettuce for the first time, this album promises an exhilarating musical journey that captures the essence of their live performances and celebrates the infectious joy of funk music.

Alessio Pianelli's debut album is a beautifully curated, affectionate, and eclectic musical tribute to his native land, the island of Sicily. InchFor A Sicilian Traveller, I investigated the richness of Sicily's culture through the music of other composers who have explored - some more explicitly than others - that central aspect in the tradition of art music. Sicilian culture is like a mosaic in which each tile represents one of the many civilisations that have traversed the island over the centuries. Each tile maintains it's original identity while contributing to a collective design that is greater than the sum of it's parts. It is for this reason I have chosen to travel with my cello through music from such a wide variety of cultures.Inch
