Sunpentown - SU-4010 Humidifier - White

We have had this machine for well over a year now without a problem, unlike the large humidifier by a different company, we also run. It runs almost 24/7 during the heating season. It still has the original filter too. It just keeps on ticking and puts out a decent amount of water.

Filling the reservoir is not very convenient and always spills some water because you have to turn it upside down. It started leaking water and ruined a wood window seat and a wood floor. I would not recommend this humidifier to anyone.

Bought this for my son who is now 3 months and it works great. The dual mist settings is great for all year use.

Runs great. The dials are sensitive and you can control it how you wish.

I purchased this humidifier so my parrots would have humidity while I was on vacation. I began using it a week before my vacation. Just a couple hours before my flight and the unit told me to add water. It was full. I tried everything to get it work, but it didn't. My birds had to go without their much needed humidity, which was the purpose I bought this for. I was sent a second base unit, but it also tells me to add water and does not work. They want to do a third exchange and after telling me other customers have had this problem, I'm not sure I want to pay nearly $100 for a unit that doesn't last long. I can purchase one from Walmart for $20 and it will last for years. It's become too much trouble and will be easy just to return it at this point. The company I purchased it from and the company who makes it have been very nice and helpful, but I think I'm done. It also completely soaks your floor when you have it on high, so if you have wood floors, watch out! The warm mist is barely warm...it's more lukewarm. The idea of this unit was nice, it's too bad it doesn't work like it should!
