About this product
Limited yellow colored vinyl LP pressing. 2023 . Sun's Signature is the current project of vocalist Elizabeth Fraser and percussionist Damon Reece. Their stunning, self-titled debut EP was originally released as a Record Store Day exclusive in 2022. Fraser and Reece's early careers in some of the world's most heralded musical groups are well documented. Elizabeth, the unforgettable voice of Cocteau Twins and This Mortal Coil's InchSong to the Siren,Inch is also internationally recognized for her vocal contributions to Massive Attack's trail-blazing 'Mezzanine' LP - most notably their biggest hit, InchTeardropInch. Damon, the long-time drummer with political art-rock giants Massive Attack, also spent the '90s as a member of Spiritualized and Echo and the Bunnymen. He has also recorded and performed with Baxter Dury, Goldfrapp, The Flies, and Butch Vig's 5 Billion in Diamonds + many more. The songs on 'Sun's Signature' have been ruminating in the background of Fraser and Reece's lives in some form for 20+ years, ever since Cocteau Twins broke up in 1997. It marks the first artistic collaboration between these life and musical partners that isn't a film score or soundtrack. This EP is the sound of a true creative partnership. Highly evolved, yet simultaneously primal - the music is an utterly original, compelling, and rich collection of songs that has developed through an Alice in Wonderland journey through life and music. Album Tracks 1. Underwater 2. Golden Air 3. Bluedusk 4. Apples 5. Make Lovely the Day

Brand new album from young Allentown, PA three-piece Catatonic Suns. Their first for Agitated Records. Catatonic Suns comprises eight songs (seven originals, and an Original Sins cover) and has blown Agitated's collective minds.Their previous album was an incredible melding of big-sounding US/UK underground sounds, but this album has taken that fire further. The band have developed more of a hi-fidelity psychedelic rock with a shoegazery shimmer akin to the late '80s / early '90s Pacific Northwest sound in cahoots with the UK sound of early '90s Creation / 4AD. For fans of Screaming Trees, Nirvana, The Verve (early), Slowdive, Ride, Alice In Chains. Songs that soar, these new recordings verge on the epic. Album Tracks 1. 1. Deadzone 2. 2. Slack 3. 3. Failsafe 4. 4. Inside Out 5. 5. Sublunary 6. 6. Fell Off 7. 7. Be As One 8. 8. No Stranger
