The overall game is VERY fun. With 200 moons to collect and a 2 player mode, there is tons to offer with the game. The traveler's guide, however, doesn't cover all of the world's In the game.

This game is as fun as any other Mario game and this time you have a magical hat that you throw around to help you solve puzzles. This is fun but when you play 2 players one gets to be the hat and the other Mario...it's not super fun but it does make the game easier to play overall if you have a friend. Overall fun game.

I already completed the main story of this game, and I’m still trying to complete the post-game content. There’s so much to do in this game! The story, gameplay, and music are the strong points of this game. It’s more of a open world, exploration style to the gameplay, and I like the freedom that I have to play this game. Would recommend for anyone getting a switch!

Such a fun game, with many throwbacks to earlier Mario titles. Excellent gameplay in 3D and 2D modes (retro 8-bit challenges), tons of stars and outfits to collect, creatures to capture, and the most expansive Mario game ever.

This is a fun game and love the new way to play Mario and the new story line is good too. Haven't tried the two player mode yet but it looks to be fun and interesting. I would recommend this game if you love playing Mario.

As an old Mario fan, this game has been a ton of fun. It is almost endless in what you can do and collect. I play it will my son, and we tag team just like my Dad and I did on Super Mario World when I was a kid.

The moment I booted up super mario odyssey I knew it would be a classic. The graphics are incredible and the open world is incredible. A must own for all mario fans young and old!

As a longtime fan of Nintendo and the Mario franchise, this was a welcome and exciting new adventure. Odyssey follows the familiar Mario formula introduced back in Sunshine, where Mario travels from world to world in an effort to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. This time accompanied by a magic hat, Mario finds himself relying on his partner in many fun and unique new ways. The only surprise was a gang of new villains that attempt to foil the duo in theIt journey to track down Bowser and rescue Peach. If you love Mario and appreciate the familiar gameplay and storyline, Odyssey is the perfect new adventure for you!

This game took a bit of getting used to. The controls felt strange and new, but once you adapt this game is quite a great hit! Even in multiplayer mode, you feel like you're really included!

I previously bought the initial released Super Mario Odyssey for my 5 year old son. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the video game and was one of the funnest games I've ever played. Together we beat the game within a couple of months and go back to replay it from time to time. I bought this version of Super Mario Odyssey for my nephew and honestly regret not doing so for my son. This version is the very same game, only it comes with an extremely helpful Starter Pack guide that takes the user step by step in how to maneuver in gameplay. I highly recommend this version, especially if your a parent buying for your little ones.

This game feels like a near-perfect combination of Mario Sunshine and Mario Galaxy. There is so much to do and so much to find. This game can keep you busy for quite a while.

One of my favorite Super Mario’s. Controls took a little work to get the hang of. After that fun game play.I love going from 3D back to the classic side scroll.

I’m an adult born again gamer! My skill set is relatively remedial and I found this game super fun, easy to control, and showcases the beauty of the Switch.

This has been the most fun I've had playing a Mario game since Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii! This game has it all - collectibles, challenges, enemies, stories, and tight gameplay. Usually when I play a game (and beat it), I don't want to look at it for a whlie, but this one I played and beat multiple times in a row. It doesn't take too long to 100% (it took me 45 hours on my second run through), so it's a good casual game to play by yourself or with the family. Definitely recommend playing, regardless of whether you've played the other Mario 3D games or not.

Super Mario Odyssey is more in the vein of Super Mario 64 than Super Mario Galaxy, meaning the game is more open-ended and exploration based than strictly linear. It's a great change of pace from recent 3D Mario titles; the non-linear structure makes the in-game world seem larger and more wondrous than ever. Above all, it's just fun to explore and happen upon a power moon in a place you never would have expected. Super Mario Odyssey is not only one of the best Mario games on the Nintendo Switch, it's one of the best Mario games, period.

Fun game with one or two people. Reminds me a lot of Super Mario 64 with some new, fun twists. One of the top 5 games for the Switch
