Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania - PlayStation 4

This is an excellent collection of the levels from the first 2 games. I do prefer the aesthetics of the old games, and there are things that are slightly off about the physics, but I think that overall this is a brightspot in a series that has been struggling to find its footing for a long time. I am very excited for the upcoming new game on Switch this year, and this gives me even more confidence for how that will be!

Monkey ball. Great game, really fun, gets me dizzy sometimes.

This game is extremely cute and charming, though I warn you that it is very difficult. There is a helper feature to help you get through the more challenging levels, though I personally preferred to power through them. The controls are very simple, and there are also plenty of minigames in case you get bored of the main challenges. It's a lot of fun!

I’ve heard a lot of bad things about this game and as such I went in with low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. The game is extremely fun but there is a general feeling of mediocrity in its presentation. While the game doesn’t thrive in its overall delivery it makes up for it in its gameplay. If you like monkeyball and want a lot of it this is the game for you. Previous entries might have done it better but I still think that this game is worth giving a try especially for the price.

Super Monkey Ball has a ton of minigames within this game. There are so many different games to play by yourself or with others. Some are very difficult and takes some learning to get used to playing.
