messed up the original. got this one and was told how i messed the other one up

I am forward deployed to Bahrain and my remote stopped working. I order two of these and had troubles trying to complete the basic steps of pairing the new remote with the system but at a local car alarm installation shop it was completed in about 10 minutes for both remotes. And the price was so much better that what they were offering it for here,

This is a good replacement remote for your Clifford or Viper alarm system. The only gripe I have is that I only get about 6 months of life out of these. It was the same with the other style Clifford remotes I use to get so it seems to be a DEI issue.

I had nothing but problems with my old remotes (battery went fast and remote died upon replacement). After the warranty was up, I bought one of the new models (the associate said viper made upgrades). After a month, so far so good. Great range on the remote start. Only issue is the added functions are slow to respond (have to hold the aux button for 15 secs to pop the trunk).

best to watch youtube vid on how to pair this remote to your vehicle. one thing I dont like is I have to buy new remotes almost yearly. these remote doesnt last more than 15months. no matter if I change out the battery and how many times I have paired it. unless I get a new alarm system, I'll have to keep buying replacement remotes.

I installed my system around late 2010. This replacement remote works very well after it is programmed. I am still using the system and have not had an issue since. I have however gone through around 10-15 replacement remote since just because after the battery dies, the remotes pretty much dies with it. Once you open it and replace the battery, it does not work correctly or stop working all together. All you have to do is to by a new remote, which thinking about could have cumulatively bought me a complete new system. Just a wast.

Once upon a time Viber made products that last. These fobs are unfortunately not one of them. Since having installed the Self starter we’ve had to buy many of these. They seem to go out like once every 9 months to a year. On my last vehicle my fob lasted the whole 5 years I owned my truck. Not one did I have to buy a new fob. The only thing I had to change was the battery (once).

Great replacement product at great price for aftermarket DEI remotestart kit with easy instructions. Took 5 minutes out of package to done. Even comes with battery installed!

Very easy and simple to use. Very handy and easy to keep it. I hope last longer and very cool color. .more options of colors and to set up to operate even will be better. Two bundle or pack of two prize of one will be even the best deal!!

This is my third remote since purchasing the Viper system. The remotes last about a year. Tried replacing battery but it was the buttons wear out.

I needed a new remote so I got this one. It works just like original and had excellent range.

This is the 5th FOB that I had to get in 3 years. When the Battery dies and is replaced the FOB no longer works.

It worked perfectly. I was able to pair it with my auto starter without any issues. I bought this because the two I received with my auto starter stopped working. They would work if you flex them which indicates an issue with the board inside. Hopefully the problem has been resolved by the company with this one.

Very good will need to get another one and will go back to best buy and have it installed. Works great.

Is as good as the original. easy to program a new remote

The newly design FOB doesn't have a battery cover that can break leaving your battery naked and exposed to the world. Also, unless you're a monkey that rides the short bus daily, programming was simple.
