Keep the bass loud and your neighbors happy with this SVS subwoofer isolation system. This set's four feet decouple the subwoofer from the floor resulting in less room rattling.
Q: What is the primary function of the elastomer feet in this system?
A: The elastomer feet are designed to significantly reduce the transmission of subwoofer energy through the floor and walls, minimizing vibrations and sound leakage.
Q: Are these isolation feet compatible with most subwoofers?
A: Yes, the isolation feet are designed to be compatible with a wide range of subwoofers and can be easily screwed into existing threaded inserts.
Q: Why might someone choose this isolation system over a subwoofer stand or risers?
A: This isolation system offers a more affordable solution compared to traditional subwoofer stands or risers while still effectively reducing vibrations and improving sound clarity.
Q: How does the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System improve sound quality?
A: By decoupling the subwoofer from the floor, the system minimizes vibrations that can muddy the sound, resulting in clearer audio and improved dynamics.
Q: What is the purpose of this SVS subwoofer isolation system?
A: This system helps to reduce the bass notes and low-frequency vibrations that can travel through floors and walls, minimizing disturbances to neighbors and roommates.
Q: First are these isolation pads necessary on Bose Acustims subwoofers, and can they be applied?
A: I am an SVS fan, to answer your question, these isolators are worth the money. They have several size bolts that come with them. So just as long as your feet come off of your sub, it will work.
A: They aren't absolutely needed for any sub really. But they lessen the energy lost from the sub to the floor through vibration. This can lead to walls rattling and so forth. In the end the bass from the sub sounds a little bit better. I'm happy with my purchase.
Q: Would these work on the sub in the Vizio SB 36514?
A: SVS states that these systems will work on most subs. These feet screw into the bottom of the sub. I have a Klipsch Sub10 and there was no natural place to screw the feet into so I had to pre-drill and screw in by hand. Not a big job and the difference in sound is incredible! A sound bar sub is typically fairly light in terms of weight so should work great to isolate sound artifacts in your theater area. Hope this helps and may the bass be with you!
