Growing up in the Bay Area, we were exposed to a lot of electro and Miami bass. We decided that it would be fun to make tracks like that but with our own spin. We also asked ourselves, InchWhat if Mouse on Mars did a booty bass track?Inch Alura was the result of that, and it's really, and probably, the only album in our catalog that we consciously decided to go on a specific route and genre. Our hope was to make something that would hopefully be played by DJs at clubs, because we were so obsessed with raves, dance parties, and all that. We recorded the Inchwe love youInch vocals at Viet's dad's apartment (where the InchpizzaInch picture was taken), which also appear in Halica (yes, we like to reuse samples). Alura, Palomar, and Serniga, were some of the first tracks we ever made with a proper computer and Midi sequencers, albeit an old Atari computer with an old version of Cubase on a floppy disk. The last track, Kate, was the last song we released that was recorded entirely on the Tascam 4-track, with the same gear we recorded Halica with. At that time we were so thrilled to have more gear, like samplers, synths, etc, that in a very naive youngster move, we took pictures of them, and used them as part of the artwork... like total nerds. We never got our wish come true of DJs playing Alura at clubs, but we have been surprised and so touched by Valerie's sister, DJ Mecanica of Dyatron Industries, who has played it on occasions. Alura also marks the end of the 4-track era for us, and led us to embrace the digital world. We love you, Alura - Roberto Burgos, May 2021

Double vinyl LP pressing. Before Sweet Trip broke up in January 2022, Roby provided this compilation. Valerie and I then edited it down from 57 to 50 tracks for . A fan had made an unofficial Sweet Trip YouTube compilation album called Seen/Unseen, which featured unreleased demos from Roby's SoundCloud and officially released non-album tracks. It was quite popular and so It was agreed that we should officially the unreleased tracks compiled with other demos and tracks finished and shelved for future . We didn't think Roby would provide so many tracks. We hadn't even heard most. Many are jewels. Some are polished. Most are rough. The number and variety of genres covered with elegance is amazing. Seen/Unseen is a view to what may have come.

I Am Satan-receiving a five-year anniversary reissue!-began with Christians and Freemasons Will Kill Me, a three-track EP uploaded online months after Busch Hymns. It's a return to Posture's solo DNA and a convergence of it's main influences bleeding-heart statements, full-strength chords, and a vocal tone that sharpens and rises as syllables stretch to their limits. The 2016 revamp of those bedroom demos were written in collaboration with Brian McFarland (For Everest) and Josh Cyr (TWIABP). The added personnel didn't slow Posture's knack for jittery efficiency. After live demoing the full album in two days, it was recorded by Chris Teti in five.
