About this product
Limited 180gm clear vinyl LP pressing. This classic album, released in July 1972 on the back of three chart-topping T. Rex LPs - provides a perfect snapshot of the era the press dubbed T. Rextasy and is proof of Bolan's extraordinary and enduring appeal across the generations. The Slider contained two UK #1 hit singles, 'Telegram Sam' and 'Metal Guru' and the first to bear the T. Rex Wax Co imprint, a seal of approval from EMI Records, who felt Bolan sufficient important to warrant having his own record tag. This edition features the complete album remastered by producer Tony Visconti and Ted Jensen.

Svartelder - Trenches [VINYL LP] Clear Vinyl, Ltd Ed date 08/09/2024
Syko Friend is the solo project of Minneapolis based artist Sophie Weil - - well known to the Minneapolis underground for her work with Tips For Twat, Joint Custody and Dance Troupe Roxanne. After two self-released, boundary exploring, cassette tapes, Syko Friend has paired with Mindrider Records to bring you her vinyl debut, Problem Child. This record lurches out of the bleak Minnesota winter with germanium fuzz strong in hand. It is a slow moving, one woman show, honest and raw. It is unforgiving, and transforms from end to end. This is Les Rallizes without the sunglasses. This is music from the heart and from straight through it. Candle-lit and exhausted, this is Sophie staying quenched in a dry desert.
T. Rex's biggest hit in the U.S. (a #17 LP), the dynamic dispatcher of two hits to the #1 spot in the UK (Telegram Sam; Metal Guru) the definitive soundtrack to T. Rextasy, ca. 1972! Glitter sales surged, as did adoration of Bolan's sexy, sordid songs; those two smashes join the title tune; Mystic Lady; Rock On; Baby Strange; Main Man; Rabbit Fighter a glorious glam classic, on CD or vinyl.
