A: Yes it is a bit large…for my 14” lenovo.
Q: Would it fit an asus g14. I am worried that it won't fit due it being for 13 inch laptops as well
A: I don't know about an Asus specifically, but the dimensions are 15 x 11 x 1-1/2. It fits my 14 inch Chromebook great.
