Tashi Dorji - We Will Be Wherever The Fires Are Lit - VINYL LP

Interview was the eighth studio album of Gentle Giant and was released April 23rd, 1976. Stylistically it continued in the vein of their preceding album, InchFree HandInch released the year before. InchInterviewInch further displayed the eclectic and versatile nature of the band, from reggae influenced grooves to ethereal a cappella vocal passages and furiously complex rockers. Award winning producer and musician Steven Wilson has remixed InchInterviewInch in Dolby Atmos and 5. 1 surround sound. Wilsons attention to detail and deep respect for the source material makes the album sound as fresh today as it did on first . In addition, the original flat mix, original 1976 quad mix and an instrumental mix will all be included on a CD/Blu-ray.

Guitar improviser Tashi Dorji takes acoustic in hand, recording in a rare studio setting with extra focus and balance. In a set of songs that travel through our bleak modern lifescape, his ability to access an exceptionally wide range of moods and sounds help to express the confusion, rage, helplessness and resolve of an immigrant in America today.1. Tashi's latest punk anthems electric guitar improvisations to brutally impact us with... gentle lyricism and introspective depth! In a time of extraordinary institutional inhumanity, seeing the faces of the many deprived, what is there to feel but exhaustion? What to want but silence? Tashi seeks it all out actively, with intention. Hard truths absorbed, he enjoins power to reconstitute as spirit, to disseminate to everyone outside the walls.
