Well I got this tv as a replacement for the new be that a had before and this one is a little bit difficult it keep jumping in an out to a different app sometimes but it's ok the video is 4k really good a bit too clear for me but its ok

Good quality but the screen randomly went black a year into owning it and couldn’t be fixed by restarting. I called the TCL manufacturing customer service and we walked through an hour of diagnostics just for them to tell me it was a month past expiration of the one year manufacturers warranty. I got DIY with it and opened the tv up (what did I have to lose? The tv was bought for $250 and was now trash). Somehow, one of the strip-cables connecting to the backlight popped out of place and made the whole tv screen black. I was able to place the strip-cable as BEST as possible. It’s not perfect but I don’t feel like spending more money to buy a new one. Plus, this is just for my hobby room so it’s not like guests are watching tv on it.

i thought this TV will be better but all the apps are you have to purchase and can't connect my iPhone to TV. other than that it has a beautiful picture

As much as I want to make a positive review on this, the only thing that I could say, that would be honest is it worked like a normal TV did all the things that a tv does. About nine months into having the TV it only turns on whatever it wants to. The customer service from TCL was not great. I had to jump through so many hoops if I wanted a new TV due to me, not having a warranty on the TV. I personally did try to do everything that they asked me. One of the requirements was having to send in a video of what the TV was doing, now how any normal person will send a video through an email did not work for them. I personally did not have the time, energy or the patience to figure it out. The brand is not my favorite, but Best Buy’s employees were very helpful. Trying to get me in a price range that I wanted but also still giving me a pretty decent TV option.

Stop working after 9 months. The TV turns on but no picture. It has sound. I did all of the troubleshooting steps and it still refuses to work. It worked perfectly until out of nowhere it stops.

Very pleased, this is a great value and user- friendly tv and remote. Set up, and the directions in the manual, were relatively simple; I chose to decline the option to have Alexa search for me, I just prefer to use the search by typing method. The employees at Best Buy were helpful, so glad I shopped there and was able to get this the same day.

I bought on black friday in 2022 and today (july 27 2024) in the middle of watching a video, the screen went black. You could still hear audio. The screen wont turn on and it only has a factory waranty of 1 year. I barely used it, never left it on, never dropped or damaged it, but now its a useless piece of junk. Dont buy it, even if its on sale. Dont waste your money. My 2014 sony bravia still works perfectly albiet dated... I will never buy tcl again

Got this TV on sale to connect my handheld to it to play some games at home. It’s better than I expected. Great picture resolution, great colors. Sound system is pretty solid too. It fits better in medium rooms, so if your room or dorm is small, I’d say get a smaller size.

Picture and sound quality were fair for price point, however, the picture slowly started to go out after having it for only 1 year, after a few weeks of sporadic flickering the picture is completely gone and has sound only. Getting less then two years out of the TV even at the price point is disappointing and unacceptable.

Today is August 23rd 2024. I purchased this TV in December, 2022. Less than two years later and the tv flickers, and shuts the display off and renders itself useless nearly immediately. I know it’s not an expensive TV, BUT I find it ridiculous that it’s only lasted this long. My GF and I are not heavy watchers either so that makes it even worse. It’s not like we watch it everyday, or even very often. This tv is barely used and it’s already rendered useless on my wall. I will NOT be buying anymore TCL products. They’re junk.

It's does what it needs to as a budget TV. If you don't need the best graphics it's a solid choice. If you have an Android, especially a Pixel, Google TV integrates nicely. Just don't expect much out of HDR if that's important to you.
