Color is true to life, internal sound is excellent, and its brightness/contrast are well balanced to show a natural, quality picture that doesn't look fake. Backlight bleed is minimal or nonexistent. Sharpness is spot on. The set shows skin tones as closest to natural as I've seen. One of the other reasons I bought the set is specifically for the Roku platform, which is the most popular with the most content and is easiest to use. It's also one of the most compatible with downloadable streaming apps such as those from TV providers (Xfinity, Spectrum). Remote is cheap but does the job, and for older folks, is simple to use. The cost is unbelievably reasonable. If you're looking for a set that just works, looks fabulous, and is really easy to use, look no further. Only thing to watch is that if you have a super bright room, if might be too dim.

Overall I'm happy with the ROKU TV I purchased. Initially I purchased a smaller version of this exact make/model, but soon realized it would be better viewing for the guestroom. So, I searched the internet for the ROKU TCL with a screen one size larger and found that Best Buy had one at a great price. This screen is perfect for the livingroom, and the volume does not need a sound bar. The on screen prompts guide you so that the set up only takes minutes. I am super pleased with my purchase, but only gave it four stars because of the repetitive ROKU commercials that play when streaming - I realize this is a necessary "evil", but at least they could change the commercials up a bit rather than run the same exact ones over and over every 13 minutes, ugh!!

I love this TV. It’s my second TCL Smart ROKU TV. I upgraded from a TCL 42” to this 55” for my bedroom, and moved the 42” TV to the guest room. The picture is great, the built-in sound is very good too. The included ROKU remote works seamlessly with Netflix, Apple TV+, HULU, MLB, and my local cable TV provider without having to plug in any external units. Everything comes in. via WIFI and is controlled by the TCL remote. Very easy to set up too.

Ive had this TV for over a year now and lemme tell you it is niceeee, the price is great for the specs that come with the TV. Its perfect for movies and its crystal clear on my xbox series x. Highly recommend!!

The tv is ok. The price was great and offers the features I was looking for. Used this for a patio tv under my covered lanai by the pool and I wish it was brighter. Hard to see on bright sunny days but it was cheap so you get what you pay for. Overall I am happy. Buy the Roku wireless speakers, they are amazing.

Great TV good price needed something I wanted a second screen for my pc and this works perfect for watching videos while I work.

I bought this a few months back and have had some decent time to post this review. The quality of this TV is nice, Ive connected a surround sound to this which is a blast watching movies. Having apps and couple HMDI options are a great plus as well. No complains and I am a happy customer.

I love this TV asI was long overdue for an upgrade. I am 5'2" and I was able to pick it up myself (with the help of my hand truck) and load it into the back of my SUV by myself too. Set up took less than five minutes, and the quality and sound is amazing. Extremely happy with this tv.
