I originally set out to buy a Samsung Frame TV, but after a great promotional deal I ended up with the new 2026 TCL A3 (Next Vision Series) Google TV for $499 instead of about $599, and honestly… I couldn’t be happier with the decision. The biggest surprise for me has been the Google TV interface. I expected Samsung’s operating system to be the one I’d prefer, but Google TV has been even more seamless in day-to-day use. Everything feels intuitive, fast, and easy to navigate. Streaming apps load quickly, recommendations make sense, and I spend less time digging through menus and more time actually watching content. Picture quality has been excellent for the price. Colors are vibrant, blacks look great, and it handles everything from daytime TV to movies really well. I’ve been watching a lot of serialized dramas lately, and the image is sharp enough that it makes those long viewing sessions really enjoyable. Setup was straightforward overall, but there is one thing buyers should know: The mounting system isn’t completely traditional. If you’re planning to use a universal TV stand or certain aftermarket mounts, you may need to get a little creative depending on your setup. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I was able to make my existing universal stand work but it’s something worth knowing before you buy. Other than that, I honestly don’t have any complaints. It feels like a premium experience at a much lower price than I expected to pay, and getting it during the promotional pricing made it an even better value. If you’re comparing this TV against more expensive options, don’t overlook it. I started this shopping process convinced I was buying a Samsung, and I ended up finding a TV that fits my needs even better. Highly recommended.

I live qjatbrhis tv offers. AI to create paintings and puctures is a great option. No one connect box , just the power cord, which i love! Unfortunately my first one had bad panel uniformity issues that ruined any dark scenes or pictures with dark areas. That was exchanged and rhe next one kepr having an error when trying to create AI images. TCL could not resolve the issue through troubleshooting so we are doinga other exchange. Fingers crossed for third time is a charm! Otherwise its a great art tv and good picture quality too!

I’ve had this for a week now and I enjoy it. The picture is lovely and the price vs quality is good to me. I’m not a tech person but I researched a bit and I’m happy with this purchase. I put an image of my normal wall light and day light to show the image in my space. Super easy to install

As someone who owns the Samsung Frame, the Hisense CanvasTV, and now the TCL 55-inch A3G Designer Series, I’ve realized there’s a fundamental split in how these brands approach the lifestyle TV. With the CanvasTV and The Frame, you are buying a convincing piece of art gallery style decor that happens to function as a TV. The TCL A3G flips that concept completely: it is a high-performance, vibrant television first that can function as a piece of art when you turn it off. The biggest real-world difference comes down to the screen finish. The TCL doesn't have that ultra-dry, completely realistic high matte coating found on the Hisense, meaning you will get more ambient reflections if it's placed opposite a window. However, the massive upside to TCL’s lighter matte treatment is that its colors are significantly more vibrant, punchy, and saturated. When you're watching movies or playing games, the contrast and 4K pop are vastly superior here. Ultimately, if your goal is to genuinely trick people into thinking a TV is a physical painting, the Hisense CanvasTV is still the one to get. But if you refuse to sacrifice daily picture quality and want a fantastic TV that still mounts beautifully flush like a gallery piece, the TCL A3G hits the perfect middle ground.

This is my second time buying a TCL Designer Series TV. I had a 65" first generation and now this new one in the 55" size as well for another room. It's incredible how thin they are. The look and feel in the bedroom is so minimal and it doesn't draw attention as a piece of electronics. It really has that artsy feel to it. We also love the Google TV interface. Adding the decorative trim pieces makes this TV look like art on the wall, specially when the built in art scenes are displayed when not using it or TV shows and entertainment. And the TV viewing experience with the QLED is really exceptional. Overall very much recommended.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn’t be happier with this TV. The picture quality is outstanding, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and sharp 4K resolution. The QLED display makes movies and shows look amazing, and the Google TV interface is fast and easy to navigate. I also love the Art Library feature—it makes the TV look like a framed piece of artwork when it’s not in use. The included flush wall mount gives it a clean, modern appearance that fits perfectly in my living room. Setup was simple, and everything worked right out of the box. Overall, this is an excellent TV that combines great performance with beautiful design. I highly recommend it.

Needed to replace my canvas that got busted. Easy install and is even thinner/more flush than the other. No complaints.

The off-white frame and flush mount make this smart TV beautiful. I had bought this so I could display my photos on the preloaded "art" platform that has a nice white border around the image like a picture frame. Unfortunately, this platform doesn't support a slideshow, only fixed images. So super disappointed. Tried to use the "wallpaper" option, but again, only fixed images are possible, no slideshow. Finally I used the "screensaver" mode and set it to never go to sleep. It works ok, but won't display vertical pictures only with white border on either side. Instead it displays two random vertical pictures that usually don't look good together. Setting the slide order is difficult. The user manual is only 16 pages and is useless. I have to AI Google all my questions. TCL customer support is non-existent if you want to speak to a live person. When the TV is turned off, the screen is black and creates an ugly look on the wall. Would have been nice to have a matching off-white screen when it is turned off. If you just want to watch TV, I guess this TV is ok, but if you want to create a slide show, don't buy it.

I’ve been going back and forth between a frame Tv. I saw this one and have had it for over a month it was great value the mount was easy to hang and the frame that it came with is so nice.

I have been wanting a frame Style TV for a while and this one is a great value for everything you get, and I did a panel test on it and it's perfect. The only thing I would change is adding emotion sensor, but you don't get those in TVs at this price so I can't complain. The matted screen is beautiful and when I have art on it people think it's just a picture frame

Love the tv purchased this brand for every room in my house and it’s so easy to install. The picture is so clear and the lighting is amazing I purchased two 55 for my guest bedroom and two 65 for my office and master and 75 for the living room love the brand

TV is great size and nice and flat like the frame. The screen is a little dark on the default settings, but you are able to change that up to get it brighter. The menu is pretty easy to navigate and moves quick

I really like the thinness, picture quality, and overall design of the TV. The art selection is limited but looks fairly realistic in art mode. The Google platform is easy to use, but I feel like a get better picture quality with my Apple TV. Overall exactly what I was looking for.

I needed a TV that worked well in a bright room. I have no problems with glare from the lights and the picture is great.
