Teeth of the Sea - Master - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Anders - Konigskinder [COMPACT DISCS] date 01/01/2005

Doyle Perez AKA D at Sea came to prominence in 2012 by doing creative acoustic renditions of metal and hardcore songs on his YouTube account. Since early 2013, he has established himself as a Singer / Songwriter in his own right, releasing the acoustic Unconscious EP in 2013. InchThe Anchors & DiamondsInch EP is his first foray into music with a full band, non-acoustic side to his songs. The full production element has given an accent to his well crafted songs and with hardcore super-producer Will Putney, while the drums were played by Matt Halpern from UK Metal outfit Periphery. InchWhile Anchors & DiamondsInch is far from the sound of a hardcore or metal record, it's the energy, attitude and song structures that gives D at Sea his edge over the pop majority.

Ether Teeth, Fog's second LP, is in his own words, a heavy-headed hopeful opus, an urban vaudevillian symphony about birds, war and love. Recorded in sequence to 2 inch tape at Thrid Ear Studios in Minneapolis with Tom Herbers, ETHER TEETH finds Broder both expanding the range of his sound and becoming more focussed in his approach. And while often dark or melancholy, his lyrics never lose their sense of humour or thought-provoking imagery. He feels that, this time around, his vision of a collison of turntables, piano, poetry and god knows what else are fully realised.
