**Tekken 8 Review (PS5) - Purchased from Best Buy USA** I recently picked up Tekken 8 for the PS5 from Best Buy USA, and it has been an amazing addition to my gaming collection. Best Buy's service was excellent, with quick shipping and a hassle-free purchase process. As for the game itself, Tekken 8 is phenomenal. The graphics are top-notch, leveraging the PS5's capabilities to deliver incredibly detailed character models and vibrant, dynamic environments. The gameplay is smooth and responsive, maintaining the series' classic feel while introducing new mechanics that keep the combat fresh and exciting. The character roster is impressive, featuring a mix of beloved veterans and intriguing new fighters. Each character feels unique, and mastering their movesets is both challenging and rewarding. The single-player story mode is engaging, offering a deep narrative that adds depth to the characters and their motivations. Online multiplayer is where Tekken 8 truly shines. The improved netcode ensures stable connections, and matchmaking is quick and reliable. It's a blast competing against players from around the world. In summary, Tekken 8 for the PS5 is a must-have for any fighting game fan. Purchasing it from Best Buy USA was a seamless experience, and I highly recommend both the game and the retailer. Tekken 8 is the most improved game from the last one. Tekken 7 while is still a good game, it had little offline modes. In character episode mode, you only have 1 fight and than you move on to the next episode. Tekken 8 improved with having 5 fights in each character episodes. Also in tekken 7, only 5 fights in arcade mode but Tekken 8 brings it up to 8 fights. The story mode is also a step up and the new campaign the arcade journey is a big welcome. I also love that you can listen to classic tekken music from all tekken games. Can't wait for more features and additional fighters to come by way of DLC. This game is highly recommended for fans of fighting games.

Most feature packed fighting game that’ll make you want to learn and get better at the game. Tekken has been part of my childhood memory during PS1 and PS2 days. Me and my neighbors would drive to the nearest gaming parlor to play in friendly tournaments. I was fascinated in watching others play. My last tekken experience was Tekken 5 in 2005. Feels so good to be back in a fighting game that’s Tekken 8 after 19 years. As a fighting game newbie, the game features mechanics to let even a beginner like myself enjoy the cinematic fights in story. Then there’s the Arcade mode that teaches you how to fight by learning the fundamentals.

Bandai Namco's latest entry in their classic fighting game series! Tekken 8 has been a blast to play thus far. 32 characters, a vastly improved story mode, and a wealth of new training options designed to help beginners and veterans alike are just the tip of the iceberg. The game has recently passed over two million copies sold and it still hasnt been out a full month as I type this review(2/24/24, game was released on 1/26/24). Download the free demo and give it a shot. If you like it, the full game is even better and you should get yourself a copy. I can't recommend this game enough. (Tekken 8 is pictured along with Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, another banger title, and the preorder bonus for Tekken 8)

This fighting game is spectacular! If you are a fan of this series you'll love the game mechanics. Every fighter has their own style and I never felt uncomfortable with any of them. Tekken has always been easy to pick up/harder to master, but Tekken 8 does that and then some. The graphics are amazing, the single player story is fun and detailed, 10/10, no notes.

A wonderful addition to a stacked fighting game series that has gone on for years. Visually the game is breathtaking, in terms of gameplay? It's better than ever. I also had a lot of fun experiencing the story.

Excellent game, state of the art graphics, lots to unlock and do. There's online if you have PS Plus but also works for single player (offline). You need 90GB min to install, fun, gotta learn all the moves though. Recommended. I got it on sale so yea it was really worth it.

This fighting game is one of the best in recent times. If you are a fan of Tekken, you will undoubtedly enjoy this one. It offers a diverse roster of fighters and exceptionally smooth gameplay. It is a must-have addition to any fighting game collection

Unreal Engine 5 really makes this game pop. Stable 4K 60 gameplay throughout the whole experience so far. As far as gameplay goes, if you're taking the time to read this review then you should know what you're in for with a Tekken game. It's all about the juggles but if you want to play with a family member with no experience, there's an easy mode to toggle that you can do in match so they can have some fun. At $40 it is absolutely a recommended purchase.

An exciting and gorgeous fighting game. It's snappy and responsive, fast paced, looks great, has a fantastic soundtrack, and feaures plenty of fighters to play as. It has some issues such as an unneccesary battle pass, but if you're looking for a solid fighting game, this is still a great choice.
