Since 2018's Sonder, TesseracT have risen to new heights across the globe, consistently smashing through glass ceilings and touring arenas with the likes of Bullet for My Valentine, Dream Theater and Gojira. All in addition to being established high-profile festival headliners themselves. On their fifth studio album, War Of Being, TesseracT return with a career-high that is their most conceptual, dynamic and sonically complex to date. The story revolves around an inter-dimensional journey undertaken by two characters (ex and el), within The Strangeland, a world made to reflect the socio-economic state of our own. Throughout it's hour-long run time, the band treat listeners to sprawling atmospherics, impassioned vocal performances from Daniel Tompkins and atom bomb level heavy riffs. The band have long been an innovative entity and with War Of Being prove they have become masters of a truly unique sound. The album begins with the reverie shattering 'Natural Disaster', followed by the pendulum swing of 'Legion'. That slingshots us into the herculean title track - the album's 11 minute centrepiece that undulates with precision and power. When coupled with the beguiling melodies of 'The Grey', or the unshielded honesty of 'Burden', the band deliver their most impassioned to date - an album to excite and inspire. Acle Kahney, Daniel Tompkins, Amos Williams, Jay Postones, and James Monteith truly have crafted a phenomenal set of immersive, absorbing sounds. War Of Being was recorded at Middle Farm Studios in the UK. The record was co-produced and engineered by the band and Peter Miles (Dodie, Sylosis, Architects) along with his long-time collaborator Katherine Marsh of Choir

THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK TO THE STUNNING NEW Tesseract CONCERT FILM 'RADAR RADAR O.S.T.' is the sonic counterpart to RADAR, the concert film that captures Tesseract's defining appearance at Radar Festival 2024 in Manchester. England. Where the movie immerses you in the full spectacle, this soundtrack edition distils the extraordinary energy of that night into it's purest form sound. This unique offering captures the band at a peak moment in their career, performing to a sold-out crowd & delivering a performance that feels less like a show & more like a rite of passage. InchAn immersive & fantastic experience that exists, fittingly, deep within it's own musical bubbleInch - CLASSIC ROCK From it's inception, Tesseract's 2024 Radar performance was about pushing boundaries - expanding the dimensions of what a Tesseract show could be. In their own words InchThe 90 minutes, or so, on stage, were proceeded by 2 full years of talks. Wild creative chats about ideas & an ever increasingly ridiculous level of ambition from both Joe at Radar & Mos in Tesseract. Venue changes, schedule changes, album touring, none of these impeded the momentum once the ball was rollingInch. The performance soars even higher with the addition of Choir Noir, led by the indomitable Kat Marsh, whose imprint was vital in shaping the vocals on 2023's landmark 'War Of Being'. The setlist of 'RADAR O.S.T.' is a ferocious journey through career-defining anthems including 'War Of Being', 'Legion', 'Nocturne' & 'Natural Disaster'.

Saxophonist Mark Taylor and tag mates RadioAction recorded this eight track session in Brooklyn in Jan. 2002. Opening with Monk's InchBye Ya,Inch they serve notice that they are as entrenched in a modern style as they are reverential of the masters. Following a strong opening statement by Taylor, pianist Whitney Ashe delivers a muscular solo augmented by the powerful rhythm team of drummer Matt Jorgensen and bassist Gary Wang. This appealing and challenging disc of originals and future standards is a thoroughly enjoyable set. - Jazz Review. Originally released in 2002.
