The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales - PlayStation 5

Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is the perfect blend of Zelda like gameplay with the lovable characters and in depth story of a Square Enix jrpg. The music is amazing, especially in dungeons and boss battles. The dungeons have a nice flow and can be completed quickly. The variety of weapons and magicite you can equip keeps combat interesting. One minor annoyance was navigating the overworld was not very free, as you will frequently find yourself fenced off. But fast travel works really well once you reach a checkpoint. This game has three endings. Go for them all if you want, but the true ending will give you most of the story.

First off- the game looks and sounds great as one of these newer pixelated art design. It's a whole brand new game with action elements in real time combat. The story is interesting as well, but I won't ruin it here lol. Between all of this the voice acting is pretty darn good in between - the game is worth the full price on on any console (although Best Buy always has great deals throughout the year).

This Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and ChronoTrigger inspired retro game is perfect representation of what those games looked like in your head at the time. Beautiful artwork. Modern gameplay. All the classic fun.

This is a complete game, there's no broken bugs or frustrating glitches. Gameplay is really reminiscent of old school Zelda. Mechanics and pacing are solid. Overall a super fun game but I do find myself skipping some dialogue cut scenes because they are ridiculously corny IMO. "Don't worry princess, adventure is my middle name"

This is my favorite type of game. It gives me the ability to explore and gives you a fun, rewarding open world experience.
