About this product
The Antlers - the beloved band and recording project of Peter Silberman - have announced their eagerly awaited new album, Blight, arriving via Transgressive Records on Friday, October 10. This is their first new studio album in over four years, released on CDBlight asks many questions without offering easy answers. Over the course of nine new songs, The Antlers' founder and primary songwriter Silberman reckons with our passively destructive tendencies - absent-minded pollution, unwitting wastefulness, and the inadvertent devastation of the natural world. But despite it's heavy themes, Blight is far from a punishing listen. With it's adventurous arrangements and persistent momentum, it plays more like an iridescent odyssey. The Antlers have kept busy over the last few years, touring with Okkervil River across US, UK & EU. They also released a collaborative live album in June of this year, and will carry out their own headline tour in support of Blight in 2026.

Green to Gold is the much anticipated 2021 album from New York based Indie/Folk band, The Antlers. Perhaps what distinguishes Green to Gold from the rest of The Antlers' canon is it's, well, sunniness. Conceived and written almost entirely in the morning hours, Green to Gold is the band's first new music in nearly seven years, and easily their most luminous to date.InchI think this is the first album I've made thathas no eeriness in it,Inch singer and primary songwriter Peter Silberman asserts. InchI set out to make Sunday morning music.Inch
