Vinyl LP pressing. 2022 . As they've done their entire career, The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney wrote all of the material for their new album, Dropout Boogie, in the studio, and the album captures a number of first takes that hark back to the stripped-down blues rock of their early days making music together in Akron, Ohio, basements. After hashing out initial ideas at Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, the duo welcomed new collaborators Billy F. Gibbons, Greg Cartwright, and Angelo Petraglia to the sessions, marking the first time they've invited multiple new contributors to work simultaneously on one of their own albums. Album Tracks 1. Wild Child 2. It Ain't Over 3. For the Love of Money 4. Your Team Is Looking Good 5. Good Love (Feat. Billy F Gibbons) 1. How Long 2. Burn the Damn Thing Down 3. Happiness 4. Baby I'm Coming Home 5. Vinyl LP pressing. 2014 debut album from the British Alt-Rock band. Created in mentor Paul Epworth's own studio it is undoubtedly among the year's most striking debuts. The title comes from William Steig's the Zabajaba Jungle. Steig's evocation of childhood adventure, exoticism and discovery is brilliantly fresh. ZABA is one complete beast and a journey you will get most from if you immerse yourself fully and listen from start to finish. Influenced by the exploratory, New World scenarios of Apocalypse Now, the Island of Dr Moreau, Heart of Darkness, the African Queen and Mosquito Coast, ZABA's songs tackle the humanization of nature and human interference with nature. Inspired by Kanye West and Charles Darwin, Nina Simone and the Velvet Underground, ZABA is a rich and textured work, a very special record indeed. Album Tracks 1. Flip 2. Black Mambo 3. Pools 4. Gooey 5. Walla Walla 6. Intruxx 7. Hazey 8. Toes 9. Wyrd 10. Cocao Hooves 11. JDNT

Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression. This LP version comes pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Album Tracks 1. My Own Summer (Shove It) 2. Lhabia 3. Mascara 4. Around the Fur 5. Rickets 6. Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) 7. Lotion 8. Dai the Flu 9. Headup 10. MX
