The Blues Under the Skin - BLU-RAY

Action, laughs, and witty marital banter collide in Undercover Blues, the breezy 1993 comedy that proves espionage doesn't stop when the baby arrives. Dennis Quaid (The Right Stuff, Great Balls of Fire!, The Parent Trap, Innerspace) and Kathleen Turner (Romancing the Stone, Peggy Sue Got Married, Body Heat) star as Jefferson and Jane Blue, retired spies just trying to enjoy a quiet family vacation in New Orleans. But when a bumbling street thief named Muerte-played with scene-stealing comic flair by Stanley Tucci (The Devil Wears Prada, Spotlight, The Hunger Games)-crosses their path, the Blues are pulled back into the dangerous, and hilarious, world of international intrigue. The film also features Fiona Shaw (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Killing Eve, My Left Foot) as ruthless arms dealer Paulina Novacek, Tom Arnold (True Lies, Nine Months, The Stupids), Larry Miller (The Nutty Professor, 10 Things I Hate About You, Pretty Woman), and Obba Babatunde (Philadelphia, That Thing You Do!, Silence of the Lambs) in a standout supporting turn. Directed by Herbert Ross (Footloose, Steel Magnolias, The Goodbye Girl), Undercover Blues mixes sharp action sequences with clever comedy and the irresistible star power of it's ensemble, making it a hidden gem of 1990s spy cinema.
