On I Shall Die Here, The Body sonically serrates the remains of metal's already unidentifiable corpse and splays it amid tormented voices in shadow. Sharing their heathen vision with The Haxan Cloak, The Body's tried, true, and absorbingly tragic sound is mutilated by process and re-animated in a spectral state. This double LP set is expanded with the previously unreleased Earth Triumphant, a full-length companion album that would become I Shall Die Here, showcasing The Body's brutality in it's most primal form. Newly remastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, this is the definitive edition of a shocking classic of unbridled bleakness and innovation. Album Tracks 1. To Carry the Seeds of Death Within Me 2. Alone All the Way 3. The Night Knows No Dawn 4. Hail to Thee, Everlasting Pain 5. Our Souls Were Clean 6. Darkness Surrounds Us 1. Our New Genesis 2. No Sadness in the Many 3. A Testament to Willingness 4. A Cloud Broke Open 5. Wind on the Ocean, Wind on the Trees 6. Death at a Great Distance

Known for the monolithic force of their music and their inventive production techniques, The Body's albums are benchmarks in the expansion and evolution of heavy music. Tightly packed with deceptively nuanced arrangements and exhilarating, challenging distortion, their compositions are possessed of an unmistakably singular sound. The Crying Out of Things is no exception; a culmination of all that The Body have done before, highlighting their mastery of dynamic and monumental music that pushes toward the unmistakable sound of oblivion. The Body have produced a wealth of groundbreaking collaborations with the likes of Full of Hell, Thou, Uniform, BIG BRAVE, OAA, and Dis Fig. The duo's benchmark albums have, over the past 2 decades, changed the perceptions and directions of heavy music. The Crying Out of Things' embrace of noise is a comprehensive display of the multitude of expressions possible with abrasive sound, a skill that The Body have pioneered and refined. InchI think for us the key to the way we use noise is, it's not the only element,Inch says Buford. InchYou've gotta really listen if you're into noise. But it also has to have dynamics. Where, say, BIG BRAVE (who have a similar ethos) expresses it in this more intellectual, minimalist way, The Body comes from an instinctual, maximalist way. We're trying to cover it ALL.Inch The Body stand alone in their ability to connect disparate influences and collaborators into a wholly original, potent and singular work. Alongside producer/engineer Seth Manchester, the duo's voracious and omnivorous musical appetites have pushed the studio as an instrument into new avenues to conjure profound feelings from the music. The Crying Out of Things cements The Body's place as a leader of heavy new music, their boundless creativity, their defining ability to convey anguish, created with a visceral clarity to devastating impact.

Austin-based quartet Alex Napping draws from the deeply personal and the sonically groovy to create storytelling with a beat. Founded in 2013, the group includes lead singer and guitarist Alex Cohen, guitarist Adrian Sebastian Haynes, bassist Tomas Garcia-olano, and drummer Andrew Stevens. In 2014, the band released their debut album, This Is Not A Bedroom, on Punctum Records. With a guitar-focused sound, this first reflects nostalgia for early romance and self-discovery, drawing from collective conversations about youth and it's limitations. Mise en Place weaves together the uncertainty of adulthood with a personal desire to establish existential structure. Revolving around a formative relationship, this album tells the story of Cohen's conflicting roles as both person and partner while highlighting a sophisticated, dimensional sound from the band at large. Moody and honest, with tracks that express both joy and isolation, Mise en Place explores the struggle to evade traditionalism, define personal success, and balance the expectations of love. Album Tracks 1. Tender 2. You've Got Me 3. Fault 4. Get Used to It 5. Living Room 6. Wife and Kidz 7. Pilot Episode 8. Temperamental Bed 9. Heart Swells 2.0
