The Carolina Chocolate Drops - Genuine Negro Jig (15th Anniversary Edition) - VINYL LP

The Devil Wears Prada's 2011 album Dead Throne didn't just hit the Top Ten on Billboard's album chart... it also topped the publication's Christian and Independent album charts! Which illustrates why this band stands out among the metalcore crowd... The savagery of it's music belies it's spiritual and intellectual concerns. Indeed, the theme of Dead Throne was anti-idolatry; as lyricist Mike Hranica puts it, Inch... making kings out of things that shouldn't be kings.Inch Warning words to live by! And new producer Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage) lends Dead Throne a more stripped-down sound that sharpens it's attack. For it's first U.S. reissue, we've remastered Dead Throne for vinyl, and given it a yellow glow stick pressing housed inside a jacket with insert. One of the key albums of it's era.
