Beautifully shot in glorious black-and-white by Milton Krasner (ALL ABOUT EVE) with a haunting musical score by Dimitri Tiomkin (DIAL M FOR MURDER) and superior direction by noir-specialist Robert Siodmak (THE KILLERS). Vladimir Pozner received a Best Writing, Original Story Oscar nomination. Screenplay by the films producer, Nunnally Johnson (THE GRAPES OF WRATH).
