It's a great game. So many direction that you can take your quest. You can up grade items that you want in order to help you in the quests. Leveling up can be easy at times. If you don't like the first character you make. You can make another and start a new game and change what you didn't like about your character. Have played it for a 52 hour stretch didn't even know it. I have got bored yet!!! There are some glitches that keeps this game from being excellent across the board.

Great game play and storyline. Graphics are awesome and the open world gives lots of options for exploring.

I love the Elder Scrolls series and Skyrim was just so much more epic than any of the previous games. I love dual weikding spells, crafting your own weapons and armor, the way things level up just by using them, and the fact weapons and armor dint degrade anymore so you don't have to worry about repairing them. It's a must buy and you should definitely get the legendary edition if anything.

This is by far the best RPG (non-MMO) I have ever played. MASSIVE world with hundreds upon hundreds of game play hour potential. The writers held nothing back; this game has an incredible story with great side missions to fill the gaps. From the music to the graphics, this game truly is a work of art. Looking for an older game to make your console relevant again? Look no further.

Time passes really fast when you are playing this game. The first six hours went by in the blink of an eye yesterday ... my character is at level 10 and I feel like I have barely scratched the surface of anything. If you like these kinds of games, you will be hooked because Bethesda has managed to create something which really nails it on every level. I am a heavily magic oriented player so I spent most of my time so far in the mages' guild in winterhold. For some reason though the Dark Brotherhood wants me dead and sent an assassin to kill me. I was just messing around with some conjuration spells in a forest glen and the assassin was killed by this flame creature I had conjured before I even knew what was going on. Looted the body and found a note saying they want me dead. Stuff like that just happens and it is awesome. Dungeons btw are really fun and very well designed. I do have one gripe that I see has been addressed by some other reviewers who gave a low rating for the game on amazon. That is that you have to pause the action to switch spells. In Oblivion, I could instantly switch spells with the d-pad and then cast them with RB while wielding a sword and shield. In Skyrim, you must assign a spell to one hand or the other, so it kind of feels like you have lost your RB button. I can understand this complaint. However, if you have posted about this, keep in mind that your RB button is not idle. It has been reserved for shouts, and you will obtain shouts eventually although you have to play along the main quest until you get the first one. I have none as yet because I am focused on the mages' guild for now. However once you do you get shouts, you can instantly cast them with RB while also dual wielding whatever you choose. The bottom line though is that this game is basically like Oblivion on steroids. If you liked Oblivion and spent 200+ hours playing it like I did, you will be addicted to Skyrim. Having playing all through yesterday and now it's 4 am and I'm getting up to play some more rather than get some sleep, this is probably the best game I've ever played. That's a lot of praise coming from a life long gamer. Again, so long as you like RPG's as opposed to say, MW3 (which a lot of people are playing non stop right now as well), this is the game for you. BTW $65 almost feels like a very low price if you were to actually measure out how many hours you are going to spend playing this game over the next year or so, and divide it by $65. I could spend $65 in a heartbeat at say, a Jets game at the Meadowlands, but that money goes a LONG way when playing Skyrim. To sum up...why am I wasting my time typing this review? Time to go play Skyrim.

Once you get past the character set up, the game slowly draws you in and before you know it, you have been playing for hours. There are numerous paths you can take (no pun intended) like whether you are going to be a Mage, a Thief or a Warrior as well as who you are going to align your allegiances with. A highly addictive game that is highly recommended!

This is a fantastic game. I love it just as much as Oblivion. The game can be a little glitchy at times, but you can easily fix these by googling the issue and finding other people solutions. It is easy to get caught up playing this game for hours.

The Elder Scrolls franchise has consistently released immersive and interactive games that keep you entertained for hours. And with the release of Skyrim, Bethesda proved that they still have a commitment to excellence with their products. Skyrim is a fully immersive game that provides months of entertainment. Add in the expansion packs and you are set for 300+ hours of game play. There seem to be no limits to this game and you will not regret purchasing!

I like this game very much, it has several levels to play, not like other games that comes with a few levels and pretty much you are done, and you have to get rid of the game because if you playing it often, you get bored or just want to give it away, so I recommend this game for more hours of play. Thanks!

I am a bit biased towards RPGs. I've always loved them, no matter how boring they might seem to others. This was my first time playing an Elderscrolls game after years of being a diehard FF fan so it was a nice change. The graphics aren't the best but the open map does have some beautiful scenery to look at. Some of the quests are so much the same, but some of them throw in quite the curveball. There is some challenge and time involved in leveling perks but one can find ways to exploit some of them and there are some pretty neat ones that I've found myself striving to acheive. The storyline is alright - at least it's easier to interpret the events compared to an FF game - I just thought that it got a little bit redundant after a while with everyone blathering on about the Dragonborn. I did enjoy the fact that I could go back to continuing the plot whenever I felt like it and I could just peruse the world as I pleased in the mean time. Overall, I enjoyed the game thoroughly. It can be very addicting and I would definitely try other games within the Elderscrolls line after having played this one.

I really enjoy this game and recommend if you enjoy games that have quests. I just wish that you could play online with others like in world of Warcraft . But it is excellent fun without that feature so adding it would just make it better Best buys price was awesome

This game is huge! Feels like it's never ending. So many side quests and easter eggs to keep you interested. The main story is intriguing too and the fact that it has dragons integrated in the storyline is great!

Epic RPG! Best open world, RPG game ever. Replayability is high, because of the various characters and quest lines. Strongly recommend the DLC as well!

If you love RPGs you'll have a hard time finding a more complex or complete experience than this game or its series counterparts. Always amazing.
