Bend Sinister is The Fall's ninth studio album and it was originally released in 1986. It was the last of three albums in a row produced by John Leckie and was named after a dystopian novel by Vladimir Nabokov. After the universal acclaim for the previous year's This Nation's Saving Grace, Bend Sinister often stands in it's predecessor's shadow. It is a dark, brooding album made at the height of the group's Beggar's Banquet years and many people include this at the top of the list of favorite Fall albums. InchMr. PharmacistInch is a lurching installment in pop music's ongoing conversation with drug dealers, illicit and otherwise. Actually a cover of 1960s garage- rockers the Other Half, it's also a demonstration of how the Fall's relatively unchanging style could bolster other people's songs. - PITCHFORK InchPart musical hypnotist, part ranting mad- man, Smith was a singular figure in post-punk. His Mancunian accent, dry witticisms and plays on words were one of the Fall's most constant characteristics. Features two bonus discs including an unused version of the album recorded at Britannia Row studios in London and a live set recorded at de la Warr, Bexhill On Sea from 10th May 2008. Imperial Wax Solvent was the group's 26th album, originally released in 2008. Following the departure of the American musicians who contributed to Reformation Post-TLC, the new British based line-up was to become the band's last and longest serving incarnation. Alongside Mark E. Smith was Elena Poulou (keyboards, vocals), Dave Spurr (bass), Pete Greenway (guitar) and Keiron Melling (drums). It was well received by critics and entered the UK Album Charts at #35.

The Fall have just announced the of their 31st studio album, Sub-Lingual Tablet. It'll be May 2015 on Cherry Red Records, on CD and limited edition vinyl, the latter packing different mixes. It was recorded with current line-up of the band Mark E. Smith with Peter Greenway (guitar), Keiron Melling (drums), Elena Poulou (keyboards and vocals) and David Spurr (bass).
