Smashing Pumpkins - Pisces Iscariot - VINYL LP
5.0(2)

A collection of odds and orphans from the dusky realms of Pumpkinland is how Pumpkins founding member Billy Corgan describes Pisces Iscariot in the liner notes penned by David Wild. Pisces Iscariot was the little mix tape that went platinum, writes Wild. This unlikely smash album that some came to mistake for the Pumpkins' third studio effort even yielded a hit single another wonderfully odd moment in the landslide that was the intense early success story of Smashing Pumpkins. This 2 disc version comes pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Album Tracks 1. Soothe (Demo) (2012 - Remaster) 2. Frail & Bedazzled (2012 - Remaster) 3. Plume (2012 - Remaster) 4. Whir (2012 - Remaster) 5. Blew Away (2012 - Remaster) 6. Pissant (2012 - Remaster) 7. Hello Kitty Kat (2012 - Remaster) 8. Obscured (2012 - Remaster) 9. Landslide (2012 - Remaster) 10. Starla (2012 - Remaster) 11. Blue (2012 - Remaster) 12. A Girl Named Sandoz (2012 - Remaster) 13. La Dolly Vita (2012 - Remaster) 14. Spaced (2012 - Remaster)

Time chose it as part of their Inch100 best albums of all timeInch list in January 2010, with journalist Josh Tyrangiel praising Bowie's Inchearthbound ambition to be a boho poet with prodigal styleInch. The style of the album cover, designed by George Underwood, was influenced by a Marlene Dietrich photo book that Bowie took with him to the photo shoot. Album Tracks 1. Pink Floyd - Meddle - VINYL LP
4.9(14)

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Original vinyl packaging has been lovingly replicated with special care. Meddle is the sixth studio album by Pink Floyd, released on 31 October 1971 by Harvest Records. It was produced between the band's touring commitments, from January to August 1971. The album was recorded at a series of locations around London, including Abbey Road Studios and Morgan Studios. With no material to work with and no clear idea of the album's direction, the group devised a series of novel experiments which eventually inspired the album's signature track, InchEchoesInch. Although many of the band's later albums would be unified by a central theme with lyrics written mainly by Roger Waters, Meddle was a group effort with lyrical contributions from each member, and is considered a transitional album between the Syd Barrett-influenced group of the late 1960s and the emerging Pink Floyd. Album Tracks 1. One of These Days 5 54 2. A Pillow of Winds 5 12 3. Fearless 6 07 4. San Tropez 3 43 5. Seamus 2 14 1. Echoes 23 32
