Arriving ahead of the 20th anniversary of their four-times-platinum debut album How to Save a Life-a 2005 LP whose title track spent 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100-The Fray Is Back emerged from a highly collaborative process propelled by unbridled exploration, beginning with all three members working remotely in their respective cities. InchWe didn't start out with any definitive expectations for this new material,Inch says King. InchWe were just sharing ideas with each other and going on our own journey with the songs, and it became a unifying force that gave us new purpose and direction.Inch In a particularly monumental shift, the EP marks the first time that King (the band's longtime lead songwriter) has personally delivered his deeply introspective lyrics. Co-produced by The Fray with Andrew DeRoberts (Fitz and the Tantrums, Zac Brown Band), Ryan Linvill (Conan Gray, Chappell Roan), and Joe London (Thomas Rhett, Bailey Zimmerman), the six-song effort ultimately echoes the newly revitalized creative energy the band brought to each track. InchBefore our hiatus there was a sense that we didn't need to fix what wasn't broken, so we weren't necessarily adding new fuel to the fire,Inch says Wysocki. InchThis time we were working in a completely new way where we allowed ourselves a lot more freedom, and it felt so fun and empowering-almost like a collaborative art project, which is really what this band has always been.Inch Album Tracks 1. Angeleno Moon 2. Same Thing 3. Not Now 4. Don't Look Down 5. Time Well Wasted 6. Known You Always

Rucktion Records is proud to present 'Life Slap', the second MCD by West London's Tempers Fray, 7 brand new songs of crushingly heavy and groovy metallic Hardcore. Fans that the band have made through their live appearances around the UK and mainland Europe, or through their debut '7 15' will in no way be disappointed, as Tempers Fray have not strayed from their formula, and have delivered a relentlessly energetic, explosive and well-written follow-up. What makes Tempers Fray stand out is just how busy and fluid their songwriting is. The band squeeze a lot into songs that rarely exceed 3 minutes, and the 7 tunes on 'Life Slap' lurch from riff to chunky riff, barely giving the listener time to pause for breath and leading to a rich experience sure to invite repeated listens. While clearly wearing their influences on their sleeves, the band deliver plenty of personality and conviction in their songwriting and delivery, to carve out their own space and identity in an oversubscribed genre. Groovy and metallic heavy Hardcore from London, for fans of Lifeless, Providence, True Valiance etc. Album Tracks 1. Gainsay 2. Wasteman 3. Lockup 4. Life Slap 5. My Mind 6. Undone 7. Hindsight
