The Front Bottoms - Front Bottoms - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

The Front Bottoms rip it up on these new recordings of fan favorites including the sing-along go-to graduation number '12 Feet Deep'. Six songs in all - mixed by Chris 'Frenchie' Smith.

At the core of the Front Bottoms new album Talon of the Hawk, is the crazy hybrid of slamming rock drumming and acoustic guitar The Front Bottoms are known for, but this time the band augments their sound with electric guitars, synths, even a little accordion. Over top is Brian Sella's confident heartfelt vocals that will have you laughing one minute, crying the next and then maybe pumping your fist and singing along when you least suspect it.  Talon of the Hawk rocks harder than their debut and it is more complex in both subject matter and arrangements. Once this sucker gets it's claws in you're going to soar. Rock and roll? The Front Bottoms wonder if you know what that means. Their mix of punk, folk and pop always has that rock n roll thang riding just above the surface looking for it's prey.

The Front Bottoms return with their first new album since 2020's InchIn Sickness & In Flames.Inch InchYou Are Who You Hand Out WithInch arrives on August 4 via Fueled By Ramen and coincides with the 10-year anniversary of the band's breakthrough 2013 record, InchTalon of the Hawk,Inch which they will tour in celebration of. Brian Sella, whose vocals haven't changed a bit in the last 15 years, is at peak form heere, as he glides atop backing harmonies turning in every sonic direction. To top it off, drummer Mathew Uychich keeps at a blistering pace with Sella and, together, they roar towards the album's triumphant finish line.
