About this product
Fuzz, the California based trio of Ty Segall (vocals, drums), Charles Moothart (vocals, guitar), and Chad Ubovich (vocals, bass), present their latest Fuzz's Fourth Dream on In The Red Records. This is the band's first in four years and is a collection of singles, unreleased demos, and rarities.InchI lived in a four-bedroom house in San Francisco that housed anywhere from six to ten people at a time,Inch Moothart explains. InchFriends were always crashing when they were between spots, on tour, or just couldn't make it home. It was a chaotic space, but a space that was cherished by many. Chad frequently crashed on our couch when on tour-surrounded by ashtrays full of cigarettes and joint roaches; beer cans and spray paint cans.InchI remember jamming on guitar and drums with Ty at like 2 AM in the garage (still feel bad for putting the neighbors through that.) One day, under Ty's guidance, I dragged a 388 in to the garage. I decided I wanted to write a Sabbath-style riff just to see what happens. I laid down some drums, then came up with what would become InchFuzz's Fourth Dream.Inch.I showed Ty the 'demo' which was more of a sloppy idea. He basically said 'Let's make this bandInch... and Fuzz was off.InchThis collection really does give a proper road map to what this band is and was, as well as how the two connect,Inch Moothart explains. InchFuzz means a lot to me, and I have learned so much through these processes. Thank you to any one who has been listening to these songs since the beginning, and thank you to any one who is here for the first time.Inch Album Tracks 1. This Time I've Got a Reason 2. S*x Pistols bassist and Rock Hall Of Fame inductee Glen Matlock has crafted a timely and politically pertinent new rock album that's perfectly in tune with the chaos of our times. Backed up by a collection of legendary players, (in)famous cohorts, and rock royalty including the likes of Earl Slick, and Clem Burke; Glen Matlock has never sounded better. And his new solo album Consequences Coming proves once again that he is undeniably one of the greatest songwriters of his (or any) generation. As the original bassist and songwriter of the S*x Pistols, Glen Matlock is responsible for co-penning some of history's most iconic songs, 'Anarchy In The UK, God Save The Queen' and 'Pretty Vacant'. After his time with The S*x Pistols, Matlock went on to form several well-regarded bands including Rich Kids (with Midge Ure). He has collaborated with such artists as Iggy Pop, and Primal Scream, and is also a highly in-demand player, playing live with the likes of the legendary reformed Faces. Most recently, Glen has signed on as the touring bassist for legendary punk / new wave band Blondie. On the album Matlock says, 'The album was written and recorded in Britain over the last 18 months or so with a posse of seasoned but en point performers.' says Matlock. 'All done during the debacle that is Brexit and the rise and fall of the turgid Trump episode in the US. These songs reflect my take on the whole sorry mess that has ensued.''The tunes are pretty catchy too'Black vinyl edition with printed inner sleeve with lyrics.
