Ivalice—a kingdom blessed by the light of the gods and ruled by the Two-headed Lion. A year after her defeat to Ordallia in the Fifty Years' War, the king succumbed to malady, leaving a mere boy of two to ascend the throne. Whoever was named regent would rule in truth and thus emerged two rival candidates: dukes Goltanna and Larg, whose deeds during the war had earned them great renown. Goltanna the Black Lion and Larg the White Lion were destined to clash, and the resulting conflict would come to be known as the War of the Lions. Against this backdrop appear Ramza, third son of House Beoulve, one of Ivalice's leading military families, and his childhood companion Delita, a commoner raised amongst nobles. As they endeavor to chart a course through this tumultuous age, a mighty current draws them ever closer to the abyss.

MIO is the name of the little robot you play as, and our nimble robot hero awakens alone aboard the Vessel—a vast, drifting spaceship left in ruin. Once maintained by AI caretakers known as the Pearls, the Vessel is now overrun by wild vegetation and malfunctioning machines. With the ship facing imminent shutdown, MIO must explore its labyrinthine depths, recover its lost memories, and uncover the truth behind the collapse. MIO contains Metroidvania fare, with a nice mix of combat and traversal as you slowly explore every corner of the map. In a sci-fi setting and with a stylish look, it's certainly doing something a little different from the competition. The game is developed by Douze Dixièmes, a small French studio previously known for their acclaimed debut, Shady Part of Me. True to their creative philosophy, the team has crafted MIO in a deeply artisanal way, building the entire experience atop a proprietary, in-house engine developed specifically for the project. This approach has allowed the studio to shape every aspect of the game’s mechanics, art direction, and atmosphere with complete freedom. Douze Dixièmes also maintains a seasonal (quarterly) blog where they share insights into studio life, their evolving creative process and behind-the-scenes making-of content.

Fight your way to the top floor. Following RoboCop's decisive victory over Detroit's gangs, a new chapter unfolds in this standalone extension set after the events of RoboCop: Rogue City. The New Guy in Town has been defeated, but the streets are still riddled with crime. A spark of hope comes from OCP’s latest project: Omni Tower – a massive housing complex designed specifically to provide for the needs of the residents of Old Detroit. But when a group of highly trained mercenaries armed with cutting-edge weapons takes control of the building and turns it into their deadly fortress, RoboCop must take action to put a stop to their plans and uphold the law.
